Cleaner Electricity Coming Soon
CITY OF PARAMOUNT 90723
Cleaner electricity is coming to Paramount with the Clean Power Alliance (CPA) that will provide your electricity from renewable sources at competitive rates.
Southern California Edison (SCE) will still deliver power, send your bill, and be responsible for service. All Paramount electricity customers will be enrolled automatically with CPA through SCE in early 2019.
Notices from CPA explaining everything are being mailed this month. Then, you should see a savings on your monthly bill. You will also have the choice to opt out.
Using CPA is another way that the City is making Paramount as environmentally friendly as possible. Questions? Visit cleanpoweralliance.org, email customerservice@cleanpoweralliance.org, or call 888-585-3788.
Large items that won’t fit in your garbage container can be hauled away by calling (562) 259-1239, ext. 244. (No lumber, concrete, auto parts, and toxins like paint and used motor oil.) It’s free for single-family homes and multi-family properties with trash barrels. For residential properties with bins and for commercial accounts there’s a small per-item charge.
