Adopt-a-Park & Park Clean-Up Kits

Volunteering to Adopt-A-Park is a chance to assist the Parks Department with maintaining a clean, beautiful area and communicate any issues associated with a specific park, trail or open space. Just once a month, April through October, head out and clean-up! Anyone can participate including groups, organizations, school clubs, families or individuals. Trash bags, pickers, buckets and vests are provided along with coordinating the pick-up of trash, debris and limbs. Contact the Parks, Recreation and Facilities department at prdept@ci.owatonna.mn.us for more details. Park Clean-Up Kits are available for weekly check out to use at any park or trail. Pick-up the gear at the Park Maintenance shop on a Wednesday and return it by the following Tuesday. Register for a Park Clean-Up Kit on the CivicRec registration system on the Parks, Recreation and Facilities website.
