AGES: 55 & up HOURS: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday, 8:00 am - noon FEE: There is no charge for residents of the City of Monroe to join. The annual membership fee for non-residents: $60/individual and $90/ couple. The majority of classes and activities require no additional charge.

SENIOR GAMES

Local seniors 50 years of age and better are encouraged to participate in the 2022 United Senior Games program which involves a variety of Sports and SilverArts. United Senior Games will take place in April/May and local winners have a chance to qualify for the North Carolina Senior Games. For information call 704.282.4657.

AGES: 55 & Up DAYS: Tuesday and Thursday TIME: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm FEE: FREE Join us for fellowship and fun. Enjoy a nice conversation while you walk around our indoor walking track or challenge your friends to a game of cards.

AGES: 55 & Up DAYS: Monday, Wednesday and Friday TIME: 10:00 am – 10:45 am FEE: FREE Stay in shape at your own pace at the Old Armory Community Center. Follow our fitness video for fun and easy exercises that are certain to challenge you and keep you active.

SENIOR ADULT SPRING APPRECIATION SOCIAL

Featuring treadmills, ellipticals, dumbbells, and workout machines, the Winchester Fitness Room has everything you need to stay in shape at your own pace. DAY: Wednesdays in March TIME: 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm Learn how to cook delicious and healthy meals while on a budget. This program is offered in partnership with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension.
