Platinum  Adventure January to June 2016

Express enrolments open Monday 21 December 2015.

Platinum 50+ Adventure offers a wide range of exciting activities and excursions to people aged over 50 years who are: • Residents of the City of Joondalup, or • A member of the City of Joondalup Leisure Centres. The program promotes fun, friendship, adventure and independence and is subsidised by the City of Joondalup, with all activities and excursions priced at just $12.50 per person.

Express Enrolment Priority express enrolment is offered to Adventurers who have been enrolled in activities in the previous program. Complete your enrolment form with neat, clear writing and ensure all your details are correct. Leave your completed form in the express enrolment box located at the City of Joondalup Leisure Centre – Craigie, from Monday 21 December 2015. Express enrolments will cease at close of business on Thursday 31 December 2015. No express enrolment forms will be accepted after this date.

New Adventurers From Monday 11 January 2016, enrolments can be submitted at reception at the City of Joondalup Leisure Centre – Craigie, or by phoning 9400 4600 for credit card bookings.

Important Enrolment Information During the enrolment process, all attempts will be made to match your requests with a confirmed activity booking. Please be aware that as limited spaces are available, this is not always possible. Once an activity is full, a waitlist will be created. If a vacancy becomes available, an Adventurer from the waitlist will be contacted. Experience has shown that using such a system allows greater opportunity for participants. You are required to list your top three preferences for Adventures. All Adventure descriptions and details are listed in this booklet. The Leisure Centres endeavour to award one excursion to each participant. There is no limit to the number of activities that can be requested. Enrolments are allocated in a random draw, to ensure the process is fair and equitable. If you would like your form to be processed with another person’s form, please staple them together. Please be aware that there are two options for payment: 1. The most convenient option is to include your credit card details on your enrolment form and allow your entire enrolment to be completed on your behalf. 2. The other option is to pay via cash or cheque at the reception desk at the City of Joondalup Leisure Centres – Craigie, once you have been allocated your activities. Please be aware that once you have been allocated your activities from your preferences, you will be required to pay for this activity, as you have been allocated a spot ahead of other adventurers. Important Information Please only indicate the excursions you would really like to attend as refunds and credits will only be issued for medical reasons. Requests for refunds or credits must be made in writing, addressed to the Health and Fitness Supervisor and must be accompanied by a medical certificate. Differing from previous years, if you choose to pay via cash you will be required to pay for any activity that is allocated to you, unless, as above a medical certificate is supplied. You will not be able to choose that you no longer want the activity – so again, please choose carefully and only nominate the activities that you would really like to attend. If you have questions or concerns in relation to Platinum 50+ Adventure, please contact 9400 4600. Happy Adventuring. 1
