KID FRIENDLY

LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN

Everyone knows Independence was founded on the pioneer spirit. For families, this means a real-life adventure to the most popular “jumping off” point, where pioneers stocked their wagons with supplies before heading out to Oregon or California.

In addition to catching the pioneer spirit, visitors will find an array of attractions designed for giving mom, dad, even the kiddos, a huge smile. Splash into fun at ADVENTURE OASIS WATER PARK and ride the Sidewinder, a 308-foot raft slide. Play an interactive game of Pack Your Wagon at the National Frontier Trails Museum or create your very own puppet at the Puppetry Arts Institute. With so many exciting attractions for travelers of all ages, you can be sure to keep your family entertained and happy while finding your Independence.
