HEALDSBURG'S BUSINESSLICENSES ARENOWONLINE!

On Thursday, June 1 the City of Healdsburg launched its new, online business license portal.

The online portal streamlines the application process and allows businesses the ability to:

Apply and renew entirely online Track their progress in real-time Complete a secure, online payment Receive their license electronically immediately upon completion

The previous business license application and renewal processes required businesses to manually complete paper forms and return them via mail and/or in person to City Hall.

We are excited to launch this new process," said Katie Edgar, Finance Director. "The new portal simplifies the licensing process for our customers, allowing them to focus on their successful businesses."

In compliance with Healdsburg Municipal Code Section 5.04.090, all companies that conduct business within the City are required to obtain a business license

The City currently has 2,178 business licenses; 1,072 of which have been issued to businesses located within Healdsburg, and 1,106 to companies located outside of Healdsburg that conduct business with the City.

To learn more about the new process, and to apply online, visit healdsburg.gov/businesslicense.

PRIDE FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

Please join us on the front steps of City Hall (401 Grove Street) for a Pride Flag Raising Ceremony prior to the evening's City Council Meeting.

Did you know that having a local hazard mitigation plan (LHMP) can help reduce the impact of natural disasters on our community?

The City of Healdsburg is vulnerable to:

droughts

wildfires

flooding landslides

earthquakes

An LHMP identifies risks and vulnerabilities that area-specific natural disasters pose, serves as a long-term strategy for reducing identified risks and associated impacts to people and property, and provides a framework for future requests for Federal assistance.

The City is currently updating the 2018 Plan - and your input is needed! Scan the QR code below or visit healdsburgemergency.org to take the survey, and help us assess the community's hazard mitigation awareness, preparedness, and priorities.

Open House Workshop

Join us for an open-house-style community workshop on Wednesday, June 7 from 5 - 7 p.m. for a brief presentation of what hazard mitigation planning is, the benefits of mitigation planning, the planning process, and next steps

Community members are encouraged to attend at any time during the two-hour workshop to discuss identified threats and how to reduce or prevent injury or damage and to reduce risk from these hazards in the City.
