It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Seniors Week 2025 — a time to celebrate the wonderful contributions of our remarkable seniors that enrich our whole community.
This year’s program is brimming with exciting events, including the reintroduction of the much-loved Mayor’s Mystery Bus Tour — a long-time fan favourite that always delivers fun, surprises and a chance to ask questions whilst exploring our beautiful region. We’re also thrilled to introduce the Buy Nothing Market Day where you can regift unwanted items and pick up new treasures, and make sure you climb aboard for the On Water Port Tour to experience a guided tour of our hardworking harbour.
Finally, I urge everyone to take a moment to participate in the Purple Road Project and knit or crotchet a flower to take active step towards raising awareness and combatting elder abuse.
Seniors Week 2025 would not be possible without our exceptional volunteers, staff and sponsors - we thank you all for the effort you put into this wonderful week of festivities.
I encourage you to take part in all the events, reconnect with old friends, make some new ones and celebrate being a senior in Geraldton.
Thank you for being part of this special week.
