I realize no one in Elk Grove is exactly like me and that’s an amazing thing. I respect my neighbors for the things we have in common and for our differences. I resolve that we all need to get along to make our community the best it can be.
In an effort to improve e-tran bus service and reliability, the City has transferred the service operation contract to Sacramento Regional Transit (effective July 1). Buses, routes, schedules, and fares remain unchanged. Drivers’ uniforms will also look the same but will include the RT logo to reflect the new service operator. As under the previous contract, control over routes, schedules, and fares remains with the City of Elk Grove, while RT simply provides the drivers, operations support personnel, and bus maintenance. For more details, visit e-tran.org, or to submit feedback, email transitfeedback@elkgrovecity.org. 4
