This class will benefi t those looking to grow over time, and is designed to learn the essential skills necessary to work as a professional actor. The class will concentrate on creating truthful performances by learning what it means to "be in the moment". Various topics of study include improvisation, games, cold reading, taking direction, character analysis, and breaking down a script. The goal is to get young actors feeling relaxed, confi dent, and secure performing for an audience. In the class, students learn to build their work from the inside out by asking Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How of a character and learn to seek out the truest expression and life of that person. At the end of the course the actors will perform in a play for the public.
