CLOVIS REGIONAL AIRPORT WELCOMES A NEW DIRECTOR

Amanda Brungart has joined the Clovis Regional Airport at the City of Clovis, directing, coordinating and supervising the operation, maintenance and security of the airport.

"We are excited that Amanda has joined the City of Clovis team," said Justin Howalt, City Manager "Her expertise in safety, quality and customer service will have an immediate impact on our airport and aid in delivering world-class service across Eastern New Mexico "

Brungart will prioritize the many projects and programs that are either started or about to start She also looks forward to learning about each project and advancing the terminal development project.

“I love the diversity and challenge that comes with the aviation industry Each day is a new adventure, with new aircrafts and the potential to meet many new people with the same passion, appreciation of aviation, and love of flying,” said Brungart

Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida and holds her Private Pilot Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Prior to joining the City of Clovis, Amanda worked for Durago-La Plata Airport in Durango, Colorado Brungart brings over ten years of experience to Clovis and has experience as an Airport Operations Specialist, Operations Manager for a Fixed Base Operator and a line technician supervisor She received her pilot's certificate at the age of 17 and is currently working on her Instrument rating.

When she is not working, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors, spending time with her husband and four-year-old son, and camping. Brungart also enjoys baking

“My favorite thing about Clovis thus far is the attitude of everyone I have met. Everyone has a positive attitude and appears to genuinely enjoy living here making it feel like a great community to be a part of,” explained Brungart
