AGED CARE COMPLAINTS

You may request the assistance of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission if you have concerns or complaints that you do not feel as resolved. They will ask questions to understand the situation, provide information and options to resolve the concerns, and inform you if it is an issue that they can help you with.

Complaints to the Aged Care Commission can be made by calling 1800 951 822 or by letter: Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission

Letters should include:

• Name, address and contact details

• Date when the complaint is lodged

• Complaint details, including specific dates of events and relevant information

• Name of service provider and its state/territory

• Name of the consumer that the complaint relates to.
