They NEED you! VOLUNTEER COACHES are the backbone to youth sports and make our youth sports programs possible. Please join us in providing a positive and fun-filled sports experience for the children in our community. Each team needs a coach to conduct practices and direct players during games. All volunteers who provide direct services to children must pass a background check. Upon completion of a successful season, volunteer coaches will receive a credit (the cost of youth sports registration) to use towards future City of Buckeye programs. So don’t wait...fill out your volunteer application now so you are ready to start right along with the team! To continue serving our community we need your help and support.

DID YOU KNOW?
In 1920, the Dunlap Tire and Rubber Company built a cotton gin to process the region’s newly planted cotton crop. But when prices dropped within a year, farmers returned to alfalfa, grain, and dairy. Cotton boomed again in the 1930s, and gins, used to separate fibers from seeds, became common across the Valley with fields of white, fluffy cotton soon filling the landscape.
