The project involves the redevelopment of the Boynton Beach Little League Park, with a new 21,211square-foot training facility, two-story concession building, new baseball fields, and required site improvements (i.e. landscaping, parking and lighting). The facility will include a wide range, spaces, including offices, indoor and outdoor turf fields, retail, juice bar, and gym.

The project proposes an “airnasium” (pre-engineered open-air steel structure to cover the existing basketball courts) within Hester Park. The purpose of the airnasium over basketball courts is to provide shade and shelter for the residents of the immediate neighborhood to help promote higher usage of the courts during the summer months.

The project involves the development of two industrial properties that are currently vacant and dilapidated, with a 10,000 square foot contractor’s workshop and required site improvements (ie landscaping, parking, and lighting). An accessory dwelling unit is proposed inside the building, which may only be occupied by the property owner or business operator.

The project proposes a façade renovation to create an updated appearance for the shopping center, and to provide covered outdoor dining areas for two restaurants on the west side of the plaza The scope of the proposed work for the façade renovation includes a redesign of the area above and in front of the existing storefronts The sides and rear of the shopping center will also be finished to match the changes to the front

Every month on the third Friday, Community Outreach chooses a location that needs to have its litter picked up During the afternoon, the Community Standards crew works to clear these areas of as much garbage and waste as they can During the third quarter, 158 pounds of litter and rubbish were removed in addition to tires and other bulk items.
