Takeaway fans love the hot chips SINCE taking over the Calwell Takeaway just two years ago Katie and her husband Manni Tsiagalis have sold large amounts of hot chips, which seem to be the favourite amongst customers, especially on Fridays, the busiest day of the week. During the summer the shop will be open between 8am to 8.30pm, and until 9pm on Fridays. Katie says that customers are welcome to call and order their food. That way, all they need to do is come in and pick it up, no waiting necessary. “We make everything fresh on the premises and we have great customer service by our friendly staff,” she says.

Chemist with a passion for wellness CELEBRATING Elise Thorton’s 10 years of ownership, Capital Chemist in Calwell will embrace four weeks of wellness in the lead up to the big birthday bash. After watching people for 18 years who are sick but shouldn’t be, Elise has embraced a personal passion to promote “real wellness”.
