Valentine’s Day, February 14 Five-course degustation delight BETTER-known for its functions, the Kamberra Wine Company will be hosting romantic dinners this Valentine’s Day. “We’re mainly a function centre, and host weddings, birthday parties, big meetings... but we have the capability to do anything and so we wanted to do something different,” says assistant manager Danielle Koerber. The package for romantic couples will start with pre-dinner drinks and hot and cold canapes, and a five-course degustation menu, which Danielle says is best described as “modern Australian”. Each dish will be matched with Kamberra wines, and there will also be roses for the ladies. “We’re excited about doing special events. Our chef is wonderful, has owned his own restaurant and is now running the Country Comfort Greenway, Kamberra and Conoisseur Catering, so he’s really versatile.” More information at www.kamberra.com.au or call 6262 2333.

chocolates which are quickly eaten. “The massages transport people to different states of being due to the power of essential oils in our aromatherapy products, and provide healing. Yoga helps people increase their flexibility and their core strength, and if you keep it up, that lasts and lasts. They’re really gifts with a difference.” More information at www.omshanticollege. com.au or call 6295 2323.
