Mission Statement The mission of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association is to preserve the integrity of the legal profession and respect for the law, to advance the professional growth and education of its members, to encourage civility and collegiality among its members, to promote equal access to justice and to protect the independence of the legal profession and the judiciary.
Santa Barbara Lawyer Referral Service The Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) is a non-profit, public service program sponsored by the Santa Barbara County Bar Association and certified by the State Bar of California (certificate #032). The LRS was created with these goals in mind: to help you find an attorney that matches your legal need or problem; to help you determine if an alternative resource(s) is available; to provide you with direction when a legal matter appears confusing, intimidating or time consuming. LRS attorneys have an average of 20 years’ experience and must meet State Bar qualifications. You will receive a 30 minute consultation with the appropriate attorney. Thereafter, fee arrangements will be made between you and the attorney.

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder Elegant and comforting creamy vegan corn chowder soup is perfect for fall entertaining. Similar to traditional New England clam chowder yet made with sweet maize kernels and potatoes instead of seafood! Pairs well with an extra dry sparkling wine. (Serves:Â 6-8) INGREDIENTS 2 16 oz. bags of frozen organic corn kernels 1 small onion, diced 2 celery stalks, diced 1 carrot, diced 2 garlic cloves, minced 3 Tbsp. of cornstarch 2 tsp. of Himalayan salt 1/2 tsp. of white pepper 1 tsp. of paprika 2 cups of diced yellow potatoes 4 cups of vegetable broth 1-1/2 cups of coconut milk creamer 1 Tbsp. of freshly chopped parsley 1 Tbsp. of freshly chopped chives 1 Tbsp. of freshly chopped thyme Hot sauce (optional) PROCEDURE Add all the ingredients (except hot sauce) into the slow cooker.
