Programs are free and there is no registration unless otherwise stated. Space may be limited for some programs.

Read to a Dog Every Thursday through December 8: 3:45-5 p.m. Ages: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Read to a therapy dog to practice your reading skills!

Each month will feature a new coding activity to try out. Participants will work together in groups on shared workstations. This program requires a waiver which you can fill out ahead of time in Compass.

Baby & Toddler Play Time
All ages (12 and younger with an adult)
3rd Saturdays: 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Story Room
Learn something new every month with guided instruction, followed by time for making. Supplies are limited to the first 20 participants.
Ages: 0-3 years with adult (siblings welcome) Mingle and play to build community, friendship, and support.

Saturdays, October 1 and 8, 2-3:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Room Ages: 18+ (Activities available for children ages 3+ during program) Register now on Compass Are you ready to talk to your tween or teen about puberty, sex, and consent, but not sure how to approach the subject? Get tips in this 2-part workshop.
Fridays, October 7-28, 10-11 a.m. in Eisenhower Room Ages: 0-3 with adult Meet, mingle and play together while learning helpful tips about early childhood development from community professionals.
We Play Music Together: Book Reading & Music
Saturday, October 24, 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Eisenhower Room Ages: 0-5 with adult Honor Dia de los Muertos with your little ones at this special bilingual storytime!
Monday, October 3, 10-11 a.m. in Broomfield Auditorium Ages: 0-5 years with adult (older children welcome) Come explore music and sounds across six continents…and get a book and a maraca! Parlando School of Musical Arts and local author Visda Carson present an interactive program for families to read and sing.

Día de los Muertos Storytime (Bilingual)
Día de los Muertos Celebration and Crafts (Bilingual) Saturday, October 24, 11:00-12:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Room All ages (12 and under with adult) Learn the history and celebrate the significance of Dia de los Muertos while hearing stories and making crafts at this bilingual event.
Weave your own textiles while learning about Guatemalan design and identity.
