April 2023 Update

The Resiliency Action Plan was presented to the City Commission at the March 13, 2023 Conference Agenda meeting.

The Resiliency Action Plan consists of:

| Creating a Resilience Task Force

| Identifying vulnerabilities and making recommendations to the Commission for implementation of capital projects and ordinances.

| Identifying funding mechanisms for capital improvement projects and studies.

| Establishing partnerships with public and private sector entities to ensure the successful implementation of resilience objectives.

As a follow-up to the meeting, the Building Department is creating a Resilience Task Force that includes citizens and moving forward with the development of the Seawall Ordinance.
