June 1, 2021 Update
From City Manager: An invitation has been extended to 15 organizations to participate in a discussion regarding the concerns that have been shared with City officials and staff about agencies that provide meals, hygiene supplies, and clothing in public places. The intent of the meeting is that we work together to develop an approach that will address the needs of the individuals being served, continue to advance the mission of the charitable organizations while considering the concerns of all our citizens and businesses operating in our beautiful city. The meeting will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at the Riverwalk Center, 600 N Indian River Dr. Representatives from Public Works and the Police Department will also participate in the meeting.
