NUMBER OF NATIONAL MERIT SEMIFINALISTS WITH Thirty-nine Coppell High School seniors and one New Tech High @ Coppell senior have been selected as 2021-2022 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

Selection is based on the students’ scores on the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. National Merit Semifinalists represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
