Art Zone Un nuovo spazio, un luogo che raccoglie lavori diversi legati al cinema, ma che non sono strettamente cinema. Un’area chill-out per immergersi nelle opere di artisti che contaminano diversi generi: poesia, teatro, pittura. Opere che sono video art, ma non solo. Lavori in cui la musica e la relazione tra parola e immagine li avvicina anche al video clip, ma non potrebbero mai definirsi tali.

Frederic Amat, Carloni & Franceschetti Art Zone raccoglie le retrospettive su Carloni e Franceschetti e Frederic Amat, un'opera prima Yi-Shu sull'arte emergente cinese, una produzione del Teatrino Clandestino di Bologna Mesmer Vacuum e infine una performance poetico musicale di Pig Maglione con gli Alias 70 Rosolart un percorso ipnotico in un set trasognante composto da una voce-corpo narrante e due musicisti.

A new area that collects and presents different works that are all intimately related with cinema but that aren’t strictly called “cinema”. A “chill-out” area where you can immerse yourself in the works of artists that range in contamination among various genres: poetry, theater, painting.

Yi Shu, Rosolart, Mesmer Vacuum Art Zone is a space dedicated to experimentation and to all-around creative contaminations: two retrospectives dedicated to international artists such as Carloni Franceschetti and Frederic Amat, a debut project "Yi Shu" by Lisa Chiari and Roberta Ruta on Contemporary Chinese Art."Mesmer Vacuum" by Pietro Barbina, produced by Bologna’s Teatrino Clandestino. Finally a poetic musical performance by Pig Maglione with Alias 70: "Rosolart", a hypnotic journey through a dreamy set composed of a narrative voice-body and two musicians.

The only Short Film Market in Italy Videolibrary: through the use of video boxes, professionals will be able to view all the 2606 short films that arrived at the competition. The room will be open between 11 am and 8:30 pm, from the 2nd to the 5th of September. Short Film Screening: special screenings dedicated to international production/distribution houses that deal with short films. The screenings will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 5th of September. I più importanti musicisti della scena internazionale si sono rivolti a lui per girare i loro videoclip: Corbijn ignora completamente i testi e reinterpreta le canzoni seguendo una narrativa a sé stante.

Aduaka is born in Nigeria. When he left Nigeria he moved to London where he discovered Cinema, nowdays he is living in Paris. Newton I. La direttrice, Gabriela Waisman, presenta, in collaborazione e con il supporto dell’Ambasciata di Argentina in Italia, una finestra cinematografica argentina e sudamericana che testimonia la nuova onda creativa e il fermento culturale, sociale e politico che attraversano il continente e suscitando interesse e dibattiti anche in Europa.

The “Diversa Festival”, one of the most prestigious events of Buenos Aires, will be present at “Circuito Off” with a selection of 10 short films. The director, Gabriela Waisman, presents, in collaboration with the support of the Argentinean Embassy in Italy, an Argentinean and South-American cinematographic showcase which is proof of the new creative tendency and the cultural, social a nd political fervor which is sweeping through the continent and arouses interest and debates even in Europe.

Circuito Off presenta una selezione dei lavori di The Directors Bureau, casa di produzione fondata nel 1996 da Roman Coppola e Mike Mills. TDB nasce con l'intenzione di dare ampio spazio alla creatività dei suoi registi attraverso la realizzazione di videoclip e spot che esprimono differenti personalità e background. Videoclip, spot e cortometraggi firmati da Sofia e Roman Coppola, Patrick Daughters, Nash Edgerton, Mike Maguire, Geoff McFetridge, Melodie McDaniel, Kris Moyes, Shynola ed inoltre Bucky Fukumoto ed Andy Bruntel.

Circuito Off presents a selection of works by The Directors Bureau, a production house founded in 1996 by Roman Coppola and Mike Mills. The Directors Bureau was born with the intent to give ample space to the creativity of its directors through the realization of video clips and commercials that are able to ideally express their personalities and bring out their different backgrounds. Music videos, Commercials and Shorts by Sofia and Roman Coppola, Patrick Daughters, Nash Edgerton, Mike Maguire, Geoff McFetridge, Melodie McDaniel, Kris Moyes, Shynola, Bucky Fukumoto and Andy Bruntel.

Snack Culture è la fruizione di contenuti culturali sempre più condensati (podcast, mini sitcom, mms o sms), in risposta a ritmi di vita sempre più frenetici che riducono a pochi minuti il tempo per guardare video, ascoltare musica, leggere libri. Una nuova tendenza per un convegno dove intervengono aziende ed esperti che si occupano di short format.

Snack Culture is the fruition of more and more condensed cultural contents (podcasts, mini sitcoms, mms or sms), in response to more and more frenetic rhythms of life which reduce the time available to watch videos, to listen to music and to read books to a few minutes. A new tendency for a convention where companies and experts of the short format will be present.

Accompagnata dall’eclettica Vj Castrozucker, con le sue immagini digitali, ci immerge in una serata tutta berlinese.

This year, Circuito off has Nadja Lind as a special guest, who with her djset presents her marked musical taste with a very clean and elegant technique; an evening loaded with energy and overwhelming minimal, techno and house music, accompanied by the eclectic Vj Castrozucker with her digital images that immerges us in an entirely berliner evening.
