WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A YOUNG PERSON ?

When you have a garden you need to look after it. When you don’t take care of it, it starts overgrowing, it starts looking ugly. You need to start taking care of the garden, otherwise it will overgrow and you won’t know where to start. When you have mental health issues, that garden is overgrown, way passed the point you can help it and you need either yourself to man up and start finding other people to help you or you do it yourself, although it is not recommended. Your body is the gardener and your mind is the garden, and when the garden is overgrown your body is affected because of depression especially and you don’t want to do stuff, you don’t want to go out and you don’t have any motivation to and that is all going to be impacted. And we are in a park right now and I think this is a decent way to show it. - Participant.
