El Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia exhibe cine internacional y chileno en tres categorías competitivas: Largometraje Internacional, Largometraje Chileno y Cortometraje Latinoamericano. Su programa no competitivo incluye retrospectivas históricas, focos de cineastas invitados, estrenos de cine contemporáneo, películas de política y vanguardia.
Este año 2015, queremos fortalecer la diversidad cultural que Fesancor expresa poniendo una particular mirada en los modos en que ellas se hacen presente. Hemos podido observar este fenómeno y queremos explorar y buscar esas articulaciones donde la diversidad se afirma cada vez más consiente de su rol en los procesos creativos. Hasta ahora la búsqueda forzada de una unidad cultural asimilable de la unidad territorial mantuvo desmedrada, casi clandestina la diversidad.
Somos el único festival 100% de cine chileno en nuestro país. Centramos nuestra visión en el desarrollo cultural, artístico y educativo, con énfasis en la producción y difusión del cine de ficción, documental y animado nacional y regional. Nos proyectamos como la gran plataforma del cine chileno, a nivel nacional.
Valdivia IFF (FICValdivia) exhibits international and chilean films in three competitive categories: International Features, Chilean Features and Latin American Short Films. The non competitive program includes historical retrospectives, guest filmmakers program and premieres of contemporary cinema, including avant-garde and political productions.

This year 2015 we want to strengthen the cultural diversity that expresses FeSanCor, putting a particular look at the ways in which they are made present. We have observed this phenomenon and we want to explore and find those joints where diversity increasingly aware of its own role in the creative process. Until now a forced search for a comparable cultural unity of the territorial unit remained stunted, almost clandestine diversity.

We are the only festival entirely and exclusively dedicated to Chilean cinema. We focus our vision in cultural, artistic and educational development, with a big emphasis in production and diffusion of fictional, animated and documentary movies from Chile and its regions. We aim to be the biggest platform for Chilean cinema, at national level.
