T

here were times when Heidi Bright prepared to die after being diagnosed with a terminal cancer in July 2009. Today Bright delivers a message of hope and healing through her book “Thriver Soup” and speaking to groups. This is the third traditionally published book by the Milford author. “It’s sort of like a recipe template for healing,” Bright said. “It’s not a cook book it’s a template for healing.” Bright’s book addresses healing from every angle: physical, medical, nutritional, social, emotional, mental and spiritual. It is exactly the same approach she used in her own survival and healing. Highly undifferentiated endometrial sarcoma is a most rare form of uterine sarcoma. The Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. Jim Meyers, who served as a U.S. Marine Corps officer during the Vietnam War area, is the keynote speaker. The Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day concert will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 30, at Blue Ash Towne Square. Indian Hill: The Memorial Day celebration will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 30, at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church at 5125 Drake Road. Loveland: Monday, May 30. Parade will begin at 9 a.m. at Loveland Elementary School, 600 Loveland-Madeira Road, and travel to Veteran’s Memorial Park at the corner of West Loveland Avenue and Riverside Drive, where a Memorial Day ceremony will be conducted. Don Chandler can remember walking in Milford’s Memorial Day parade with his grandfather in the 1950s, when he was in grade school. So he’s sad that other children won’t get that experience this year - and maybe not after that, either. For the first time in at least 60 years, American Legion Victor Stier Post 450 in Milford will not sponsor a Memorial Day parade. “We’ve been talking about this for a couple of years now as more of our members get older, and we just don’t have
