NEWPORT - Four new companies will join Newport’s business roster by this fall. The Newport Shopping Center and Plaza, located at Monmouth Street and Carothers Road, welcomes Newport Tires, Crunch Fitness, A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts and Urban Nails. Newport Tires is set to open at a former 4,460-square-foot car wash site in the plaza later this month. Crunch Fitness, which has more than 145 locations across the U.S. started in New York City’s East village in 1989. The personal fitness gym will be leasing 30,521 square feet of space at the complex. New Jersey-based A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts will open within the next two months. The Newport location, which will occupy 18,482 square feet at 82D Carothers Road, will be the company’s second store in the Greater Cincinnati area. The other store is located in Pleasant Ridge. A.C. Moore is an American arts and crafts retail chain with 141 locations in the Eastern U.S. Urban Nails, a national salon chain, will fill 4,982 square feet next to Family Dollar.
