The Youth Forum proved to be very hip and youthoriented! How could it not be? The organizing committee continuously encouraged our social mediacrazed generation to tweet and update regarding the event. They even provided free wi-fi access at the venue accompanied with a double screen showing the live twitter updates under the hasthag #IMAYouth and #IMA2013! Bona of Indonesian Idol, acting as the master of ceremony, never endingly reminded the audience to share the words, pictures and thoughts that audiences heard, took and got in the Youth Forum. This creative method of using the power of social media to spread the news and the spirit was utterly brilliant and effective! Parallel with the Youth Forum, there was a Social Marketplace in which we are proud to say that CIMSA was the only national medical student organization that had been given the chance to open a booth and promote our MDGs-related activities. We were even granted with the best spot there, which was the first booth that all participants saw near the registration place. The Social Marketplace was also attended by booths from HAI! magazine, Indonesia Medika, Lapor UKP4, Change.org, ODHA/AYO, PendidikanPolitik, Coding Indonesia, Interfaith, Pencerah Nusantara, and Indonesian Youth Diplomacy! There were many members of CIMSA that attended the event, mainly from Kaukus III (UI, UIN, and UPH) led by Yehezkiel Nathanael (VPE 2013-2014) and Denisa Widyaputri as the Person-In-Charge of CIMSA’s Booth in IMA 2013. All CIMSA members were eager and excited to explain CIMSA, especially about CIMSA’s MDGs Months 2013 to those curious heads who came to our booth. There were many people from other youth organizations, health institutions, NGOs and media who were interested about us, filling up our guestbook pretty quickly. Our very own Christopher Christian (SC 2013-2014) and Yehezkiel even got the chance to promote CIMSA to Mr. Basuki

Tjahja Purnama amidst the crowd that surrounded him! IMA 2013 was held on Saturday, 15th March 2014 at The Djakarta Theater from 9.30 am-5.30 pm for the Youth Forum and the Social Marketplace, followed by the traditional awarding night from 7.00 pm.And no, your eyes have not deceived you. It’s called IMA 2013 because the award is given to the projects held in 2013. Last year, our project was nominated for two categories in IMA 2012, unfortunately this year the odds were not in our favor. But hey! Now we’re fired up to win next year’s IMA Awards, aren’t we?

“Alone, we are just glass of water. Together, we are an ocean”. A quote from Angga Dwi Martha (Youth Advocate for United Nations in Indonesia) has inspired us youth who were present in the audience. We promised to connect, to spread the news and to empower each other, as Indonesian youth, so that Indonesia can be better. Because on our shoulders lies the future of our beloved country, we shouldn’t just sit and wait. We should be the change we want to see. Now is the prime time to step in and do our part. Well, that’s all from the CIMSA delegations of this year’s IMA event! Still curious about the awesomeness of IMA 2013? Check out our previous live tweets from @cimsanasional or @MDGAwards! Last but not least, we want to express our biggest form of gratitude to all CIMSA members and national officials who has supported this event and also visited our twinkling booth at IMA 2013! With love, youthful spirit and (so much) selfies, Denisa Widyaputri, Diannisa Paramitha Susantono, Dinarda Nadobudskaya CIMSA Delegation for IMA 2013
