The Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance Presents

The Fourth Holy Convocation August 2nd - 7th, 2011 Anno Domini Convening at Deliverance Cathedral For All Nations 760 South Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana 46628

The Immaculate Bride of the Immaculate Lamb Revelation 19:7

The Most Honorable, Apostle Carl Daniel Lykes, Sr. Presiding Prelate

Bishop Lawrence Richard Burrell, Sr. Vice Presiding Prelate

Bishop Michael Orlando Perry, Sr. General Secretary

Apostle & Mrs. Carl Daniel Lykes, Sr. Welcomes you to our Fourth Holy Convocation Welcome is a little word, but it has great weight. In times like these a hearty welcome serves to encourage those who are tiring to put over God’s program. It is natural that we can eat better, sleep better, and feel more at ease to do whatever we have been requested to do when we have been made welcome. As the Immaculate Bride of the Immaculate Lamb arriving from all areas of this life, we count it an honor and a privilege to welcome you to this Kingdom experience of the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance annual Holy Convocation. We are thrilled to be here in the Mid-West and that you have come to join us in celebrating God’s Holiness and His Majesty. We pray after experiencing the love and fellowship of the saints you will always feel welcome, not for this occasion only, but at any time, any service, you will find a hearty welcome. We have come together by the call of Almighty God to feast on His Word and to exalt His Name together during this Holy Convocation. You came to help and we graciously received you and all the servants of the Lord who reported for duty. We pray you were blessed and that you hearts were made glad during these services. Thank you for your support to our Father, which continues to help AFCOD thrust into its destiny.

Affirmation of Faith Moved by the revelation of Christ as God in our lives, we do hereby exhort and testify:

Christ is the physical manifestation of the eternal God who is both Holy and Spirit; and is doubtless the Father and progenitor of all that was, that is, and is yet to be.

Christ, the Jehovah of old and proven Elohim of the new, humbles us to repentance and shame of our waywardness and sin; while establishing our hope through reconciliation by His blood, regeneration by His Spirit, and remission of our sins by baptism in His name.

Washed by the preachment of His word, broken by the conviction of His Spirit, and

strengthen by the praise due unto His name, we are delivered and die daily to the intent that this great God we may know, suffer with, be empowered by resurrection with, and ultimately reign with.

To us everyday is holy even as He. We rejoice to awake to a new day of mercy for it is of this mercy we are not consumed, because His compassion faileth not. Faithful is He who never sleeps nor slumbers He is continually working all things together for our good.

We avow ourselves here again today to be faithful stewards with the gifts, talents, and wisdom

afforded us as His grace will allow. We further determine to press ever toward the mark of the high call of God, which is in Christ Jesus carefully spurning the Judas syndrome.

God forbid we should fall, but we never hang ourselves. For we are a people quick to repent, quick to rejoice and persistent to endure.

We live not for man. We live not for ourselves. It is for God we live. It’s for Him we

move and have our being.

Blessing and Honor, Glory and Power are due unto His name forever. Amen

The History of The Deliverance Tabernacle (Our Mother Church which birthed The AFCOD) “And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and a place of refuge, and a covert from storm and rain.” Isaiah 4:6

These words of Isaiah the Prophet were given to Pastor Carl Daniel Lykes, Sr. while conducting a revival in Kingsport, Tennessee. Little did he know that his destiny lay within these words. The Deliverance Tabernacle of the Apostolic Faith began on the 2nd Sunday in July, 1979 in the home of Sister Nancy Walker of Red Oak, VA; 19 people were present. The first sermon preached was, “Our God is Standing By.” On our next meeting date, Pastor Lykes preached, “Build Your Hopes on Things Eternal, Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand.” There were 21 people present, and in attendance was the Rev. Edwin G. Hall Sr., who consented to serve as Assistant Pastor of the church. On the 3rd service, we met at 11am at the 2nd Pentecostal Church of Clover, which was pastored by Rev. Chandler. Services were arranged so that we were able to meet each week for Tuesday and Thursday night services and Sunday morning worship. We met there until winter. Because of the heating expenses, Pastor and his members attended his home church, The Greater Mayfield Apostolic Church of South Boston, VA until weather conditions were warmer. It is now 1981, and time to launch out into the deep, services resumed at the Masonic Lodge in Clover. Our contact person was the Rev. Moses Forster. Little did we know his sister Margaret Durham would become one of our Church Mothers. It was during this time the church blossomed. God sent to us Rev. & Mrs. Burrell, Sister Ella Brooks, Sister Shirley Brooks, Sister Clara Stanfield, Rev. Tony Cooper, Brother Ricky Watson, and Sister Audrey Ford. Rev. Burrell through a dream given to our Pastor before he and his wife arrived was anointed by God as the Associate Pastor. They remain to this day. He was installed as such in August 1981. His first message was “The Good Shepherd.” A message we will never forget. Rev. Cooper came to us and conducted our first revival. He preached such sermons as “Caught in the Middle of a Mess; Lost Without a Cause; and The Devil Wants Me Dead or Alive.” However, his hallmark sermon will always be remembered, “If Sin is Your Hang-up, then Hell Will Be Your Hang-Out.” The Rev. Thomas Jenkins came to us and preached a message, “Never Say Die” and these messages remained in our hearts and continued to pave the way to our destiny. It was during this move of the spirit in 1981, that the Deliverance Tabernacle was purchased by the Virginia State Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. The church purchased for our home was The St. Luke Episcopal Church of Clover. Pastor Lykes preached his hallmark sermon “Get Your Stuff Together, It’s Moving Time.” We remained there until 1983. Pastor Lykes went through a great trial which tested his faith. He had to make certain decisions that would reveal to the world and those around him, whether he had been called by God or not. The choice he made was to obey the voice of the Lord and Stand Still to see his salvation. After testing times were over and the people won the Victory, organizational changes were made. We joined the Power House of Deliverance Churches of the Apostolic Faith, Inc of Greensboro, NC where Bishop J.H. Covington served as the Chief Apostle and Pastor. It was during the Covington administration that this edifice was purchased.

On April 2, 1991, Bishop Covington went to sleep, resting from his labor here and to await the general resurrection, when the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together to meet the Lord in the air. At that time, saints from every nation will come forth and in that number The Deliverance Tabernacle of the Apostolic Faith, South Boston, VA will be recognized as the Bride of Christ, along with the Tabernacle, The Christ Church of Deliverance of Statesville, NC. We will be side by side, marching in our white robes having been washed in the Blood of the Lamb. Then no one can deny that we are the visible splendor of God’s Kingdom; The Elect of God full of Glory, wearing the Royal Garments of the Kingdom. On the first Wednesday in February 1994, Christ Church of Deliverance was established and held its first service at the Holiday Inn Express on Sullivan Road. Our first message was “A More Excellent Ministry.” Everyone at that service remained except two people. The first Sunday service was held at the Holiday Inn on Garner Bagnal Boulevard and the Apostolic Women’s Society was in charge. From the Holiday Inn we began having services at the Bristol Community Center until we moved our services to Interfaith Deliverance Church on Western Avenue with the late Bishop Benny Davis and saints. We remained at Interfaith until we purchased our new home the Race Street United Methodist Church, which was dedicated on April 5, 1996 by His Grace, The Honorable Bishop Jesse Delano Ellis, II and The United Pentecostal Churches of Christ. At that time our name was changed to Christ Cathedral of Deliverance. We remained members of The United Pentecostal Churches of Christ until the year 2000 when we began forming the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance. And on February 19, 2008, at our First Annual Holy Convocation we named Christ Cathedral of Deliverance as our Headquarters Cathedral. On Saturday, February 23 at 12:00 noon, The Service of Apostolic Installation for our Presiding Prelate was conducted by Chief Apostle Sylvester Davis Johnson, of the True Vine Churches of Deliverance International (TVCOD), with headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC, of which Bishop Lykes serves as the First Vice Presiding Bishop and Dean of the College of Bishops. We declare for this house covered by the blood and blanket of love that will spread over our entire church family, because all we have is God. His love has already given us the character of His Holiness. We realize that we are destined for greatness and the Conquest lies ahead. Therein answering the age old question, “Who has seen this House in its first glory and how do you see it now?” We see it, Terrible as an Army with Banners; Glistening in the noon day Sun; Leaning on the Arm of her Beloved. And His name is above, every name, Jesus. He is the highest ruler, with all authority over every Power.

The Legend of The Coat of Arms Centermost on the cover is the Coat of Arms of the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance (AFCOD). This crest was created by His Grace, Bishop Carl Daniel Lykes, Sr., our Establishmentarian. This crest represents the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance obeying the Great Commission, carrying the gospel into the four corners of the earth. In the top left corner is the Crown of Righteousness that awaits the children of God if we will remain faithful and true to our faith in Christ Jesus. At the bottom left is fire which represents the spirit of Holiness, for our God is a consuming fire. According to the scriptures, our faith and works will be tried by fire and if they come out as pure gold we are saved and ready to receive our reward…… this fire also signifies zealousness which rest in the hearts of our membership, to be about our Fathers business until He comes. The top right corner reminds us that on a hill far away stood an old rugged cross on which our Saviour died and where we first saw the light of our salvation. It also expresses how the Love of God transcends our human understanding and allows us to strive in Christ likeness. The cross also denotes the unity of heaven and earth. The bottom of the cross – earth, the top – God, however before you can reach God there must be relationship – man to man. In the lower right corner is the Lion of the tribe Judah that shall break every chain and give to us the victory again and again. The lion also speaks of the bravery, strength, ferocity, and valor exhibited by all who follow Christ and except the salvation which he gives. As you continue your study of the crest, let us approach with deepest reverence, the heart of our ministry, THE ARK OF THE COVENANT. Put off your shoes, for if any place be sacred, surely this we now tread is holy ground. The Ark of the Covenant representing the presence of Almighty God, touching every aspect of our ministry speaks also of preservation. Just as the Ark preserved, God’s precepts to Israel, so the Lord Jesus, as our everlasting covenant, has reserved for us the title deed to our salvation in heaven. Atop the crest is the Bishop’s Miter, symbolizing the Acts 2: 3-4 experience; the Key and the Shepherd’s Staff (Crozier) are the support for the Shield of Faith on which the Arms rest. The flowing stole from the sides of the Shield represent the yokemanship of all who serve with the Primate in the promulgation of holiness. The banner on which the Coat of Arms Rest is inscribed: EKKLESIA TIKTO PURINOS being interpreted, “A Church Meeting The Needs of a Needy World.” “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 1Timothy 1:17

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE COLORS USED IN THE CREST: Gold – Generosity and elevation of the mind Red – Warrior or martyr Blue – Truth and loyal Green - Hope, joy and loyalty in love Maroon - Patient in battle, and yet victorious

The Seal of The Apostle Carl Daniel Lykes, Sr.

THE EAGLE is a divine bird that flew above the storms, while below there are only sorrows, dangers, and distress. It is a swift bird strong and powerful, never becoming weary. THE CROWN denotes royal or seigniorial authority, defender of a fortress, token of civic honor; one who first mounted the breach in the walls of a fortress, our establishmentarian also strives for the crown of righteousness laid up for the saints, and has determined in his mind to endure to the end, so that he too can Crown Christ Jesus Lord of All. THE SHOFAR is an instrument made from the horn of a ram or other kosher animal. It was used in ancient Israel to announce the New Moon and call people together. It was also blown on Rosh Hashanah, marking the beginning of the New Year, signifying both the need to wake up to the call to repentance. It is to rouse the Divine in the listener. It must be an instrument in its natural form and naturally hollow, through whom sound is produced by human breath, which God breathes into human beings. This pure, and natural sound, symbolizes the lives it calls the saints to lead. The bend in the shofar is supposed to represent how a human heart, in true repentance, bends before the Lord. It reminds the pious how Abraham, offering his son Isaac in sacrifice, was reprieved when God decided that Abraham could sacrifice a ram instead. THE WORD OF GOD WITH THE CROSS IN THE MIDDLE denotes our Chief Pastor preaches the Old and New Testaments with Calvary bridging the gap. The Old Testament was types and shadows of things to come and is just as important today as it ever was. The New Testament reveals the wonderful works of God, for God was in Jesus, reconciling the world to Himself. THE CANNON MOUNTED ON A CARRIAGE PROPER taken from the crest of the Lykes family which depicts peace and sincerity; signifies truth, loyalty, protection, security, along with military fortitude. Its origin: England. GUARDED BY A PAIR OF LIONS, which is always recognized as strong, fierce, and majestic. It was the royalist of animals. It represents bravery, strength, ferocity, valor, and dauntless courage. The lion of Judah is often portrayed with a partner, the two lions rampant, standing on their hind haunches, their front paws perched on the top of the tablets of the Covenants, guarding it. RESTING ON VINES is direct response and obedience to our Lord Jesus who said, “I am the true vine and my Father is the husbandman.” He also stated, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These vines signify strong and lasting friendship with Jesus. The vine denotes a person of noble nature, strength, bravery, and alertness. One who is high spirited, ingenious, quick-witted and judicious; true magnanimity and strength of mind. Lastly it signifies protection, which sums up our leader in character, “A man after God’s own heart.”

Apostolic Salutation Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Holy greetings to the Immaculate Bride of the Immaculate Lamb!!! What a joy to be able to greet you as we forge ahead in establishing the kingdom for the King. Our hearts rejoice as we consider our individual testimonies having experienced the manifested glory of God in our lives through out this year. To be used of God, experience his presence as never before and to witness to others that they may come to repentance and be reconciled to Christ is our greatest joy. With this in mind, I pray your declaration as you have arrived in the Mid-West will be, “It is good for all to be here!” Our family circle has not been broken, our children are saved, returning home from College with good reports and yet on fire for God. The Lord is keeping us in spite of the catastrophes of our world and proving to be our shield and buckler. Hallelujah !!! Let us deliberately rejoice and be glad during this fourth annual Holy Convocation.

As the bride of Christ we have so much to be thankful for. We should be thankful that we have remained faithful unto the Lord and that we are striving to walk in our integrity knowing who we are and whose we are. In a complex society when people are walking away from the church and denying His name, we the AFCOD have remained loyal, just as the church of Philadelphia. Yes we are little in strength but will not deny His name. It is so wonderful that God would give us the revelation through our school of wisdom that our greatest enemy today is neither Satan nor sin, because Jesus defeated both at the cross. Power is not the problem, either. We have power. That is why God did not send power to fix our problem. Our greatest enemy today is ignorance. Myles Monroe told us the antidote for ignorance is knowledge, so God sent us His Word--His living Word in the person of Jesus Christ. Christ came to remove our ignorance about God and His Kingdom and to teach us of our heritage and kinship as children of the Father. Let us be thankful we are not wasting time trying to be modern day Christians who know the word but not the God of the word. Instead as His bride we strive to be Christ-like, willing to deny ourselves taking up our cross and following Him. As your pastor, I’m so glad to see your spiritual growth and hunger for God, wanting to please Him. To know the struggles and disappointments and the warfare each of us have gone through since our last convocation, yet to hear of no strife among you against each other causes our soul to rejoice. We will continue to only contend for the faith that was delivered to the Church because as you can see that is what produces fruit that remain and the continual growth of this Zion. As we enter this time of Holy Convocation keep in mind, one of the greatest revelations God has given me in my life with Christ is that our Heavenly Father is not in the business of reforming institutions but of redeeming individuals. If we concentrate on furthering Christ’s redeeming work on the inside of people, they will eventually come to the point of revitalizing the structure of their own church. If one recognizes this truth and accepts it, he can live and work in the institutional church without bitterness. If the Lord Jesus can begin to work His miracle of resurrection in our midst, He can do it anywhere.

Bishop Lawrence R. Burrell, Sr. ASSISTANT PRESIDING PRELATE Resident Pastor of the Mother Church - ‘The Deliverance Tabernacle South Boston, VA’

Greetings, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The original Hebrew word that is translated as “convocation” is (pronounced) mik-raw which means, a called assembly. Another literal meaning of the original Hebrew word is a rehearsal - rehearsal meaning to “re-hear” what has been taught. Once again, we are gathered together for fellowship and instruction. As long as we live, we must continue feeding upon Christ and rejoicing in him, while remaining mindful of the great things He has done. During this time of spiritual enlightenment, we must put aside our daily affairs and take a moment to concentrate on eternal things, while experiencing the truth that we are all one body in Him. We welcome all those who have a desire to grow in the Lord, and pray that through instruction and fellowship, you will have a hunger to enter into the fullness of Christ.

Yours in Christ, Bishop Lawrence R. Burrell , Sr.Pastor

Bishop Michael O. Perry, Sr. GENERAL SECRETARY & ASSISTANT PASTOR

I greet you in the matchless name of Jesus who is both

Lord and Christ. I trust you are both favored and inspired for we serve a God that just doesn’t sit high, but He’s looking and moving low. So whether you are at a high point or low, your God is already there moving.

And N OW He’s moving within AF COD Convocation 2011. Get ready to experience His Wondrous Love. Get ready to hear His voice with clarity. Get ready to get on a cloud called Glory and be transported to dimensions in the spirit beyond your imagination. As a prince and ambassador, I welcome you to this great convening. Timing is everything and with God it is of utmost importance. Timing and moving accordingly is a reflection of your faith and as you show up to this meeting thank God that your faith has caused you to show up at the right time. For there are many seasons with God and we know of the seasons of sowing, watering, cultivating, waiting but I welcome you to DUE Season. Due season comes AF TER you’ve suffered. Due season comes AF TER you’ve been left for dead. Due season comes AF TER you’ve been betrayed. But AF TER all these things God will speak again and the Holy Spirit will bring to your remembrance that you are not what you went through but you are what HE says. The Holy Spirit reminds that your suffering was not for your punishment, but a gateway to your breakthrough. And at this convocation The Lord convenes you to let you know that You know that because of the resurrection and Pentecost you have ACCESS to His wondrous power for deliverance, miracles and healing. Once again I welcome you with all the rich graces of our Christ. Serving Him, Bishop Michael O. Perry, Sr.

Bishop Nathaniel St. Jerome Lassiter SUFFRAGAN BISHOP - ADJUTANT GENERAL

This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it for he has made us glad. I am impelled to write you this epistle-which is both a theological reflection and a pastoral invitation coming from the depths of my heart, welcoming you to the 4th Annual Holy Convocation 2011. With the theme being “The Immaculate Bride Of The Immaculate Lamb”. As we prepare and wait for the bridegroom’s return, we stand in awe at the manifested miracles God is performing in the mist of us right now. We need to understand that our status has change and we are living in the prophetic fulfillment of God’s glory. God said that the stage is set and that it is time for us to be seen; He is bringing them in from the north, south, east and the west to make up the ministry. We are movers and shakers with the spirit of Joshua upon our leader (we are well able to conquer). To everything there is a season, and the season that we are in, is possessing the promise. God has positioned us for the takeover. The world is crying out for a Savior, they want God!!! Too long have we, as the church, conformed to the world instead of standing in our integrity. The church has allowed the world to dictate our boundaries when God has none. Too long has the world closed the mouths of His people, when He commanded us to cry loud and to lift up our voice like a trumpet in Zion. The clarion call has been extended and because of the blood you answered. Together we can build Gods kingdom. Servant, +Nathaniel St. Jerome Lassiter

Bishop Tyrone St. Gregory Strange II AUXILIARY BISHOP

Greetings from Sedes Apostolici (the Apostolic See).

We welcome you God’s people and thank you for answering the call to come to Holy Convocation 2011. Romans 11:29 says, “The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable,” meaning that God does not change His mind concerning these gifts and callings. He will not fire you. He will not take back what He gave, withdraw the gift or invalidate the calling. It is the purpose for which you were created. The dynamic of a life determined by a calling is that if you live in and for the calling, rather than for self, then emotional, relational and spiritual prosperity result. Godly purpose makes sense of life in a way that absorption in “things” or self never can. When God calls and gifts a people, nation or generation, He cannot and will not change His mind or withdraw what He has given. We can forget about it, run away from it, reject it, lay it down and rebel against it, but the gifts and the call¬ing remain. Citizens of AF COD in 2011 have been called to be “The Immaculate Bride of the Immaculate Lamb”. God grants us privilege to an audience with Him in the Mid-West at Deliverance Cathedral for All Nations. It is an honor when God grants us this kind of audience of such a supernatural encounter as standing in His council. Here are God’s conditions for stranding in His council: “walk in My ways and perform My service.” The purpose behind AF COD is to reflect the greatness and the glory of the King. AF COD citizens are under the rule of the King and come to manifest His nature. As a matter of fact, the quality and nature of any kingdom can be recognized first not by the presence of the king, but by the lifestyle of his citizens. Seeing how the AF COD people in the kingdom live reveals a great deal about their king. Servum Servorum Dei + Tyrone St.Gregory Strange II June 24, 2011, A.D.

Bishop Elect Tony Lee Cooper Sr.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ,

To be given Kingdom is more than to internalize kingdom principles and ethics. This royalty and ruleship is not hallow, empty, figurative, symbolic, or emblematic. The Church, the Bride, the Eternal Companion is to sit with Him on His throne. Therefore, from all eternity, all that precedes the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is preliminary and preparatory. The final and ultimate outcome and goal of events from eternity to eternity and the finished product of all the ages, is the spotless Bride of Christ, united with Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, seated with her heavenly Bridegroom upon the throne of the universe—ruling and reigning with him over an ever-increasing and expanding Kingdom. He entered the stream of human history for this one purpose, to claim His Beloved. (Revelation 19:7; 9) Welcome as we celebrate our 4th Annual Holy Convocation of the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance. It has been a pleasure and learning experience in serving you the greatest people in the world, the saints of the Most High God. The Kingdom has moved and its people have been place on high alert to the voice of the All-mighty. We are moved by the eye of God into a new place of glory, that is just around the corner. There is a call for the glory of God. In the Service of the King, Overseer Tony Lee Cooper Sr.

Overseer Reggie L. Brown, Sr. A Most Holy Apostolic Greeting in Jesus Name, We have come to celebrate once again as a body of believers at this Fourth Annual Holy Convocation. This summoned assembly has been divinely called by the Great Creator of the end of times. With that in mind, expect our God to manifest His power during this great coming together. Prophetically God spoke this mandate, “The stage is turning and those who were in the front will be in the back. This God sent word has come to pass. With the stage being set we will bless the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I believe this conclave God will prepare us for the position. At this August gathering, God will end this chapter of the book (A.F.C.O.D), but the book still remains open. Signs and wonders have been manifested in this chapter and God has proven that He is with us. At convocation you must understand it is the commencement of a new chapter. In this chapter we expect even superior work than that of the pass. I believe we will come in contact with the One and Only God,who has manifested Himself to the world in various forms throughout the ages, and that He has especially revealed Himself as Father in the creation of the universe, as Son in redemption to human kind, and as Holy Spirit dwelling in the hearts of the believers. I believe that this God is the Creator of all that exists, be it visible or invisible, He is eternal, infinite in His power, Holy in His nature, attributes and purpose. He possesses an absolute and indivisible divinity. He is infinite in His greatness, His sovereignty is inconceivable and His essence is Indescribable. He is known completely only to Himself, because such an infinite mind can only be understood by itself alone. He is bound by absolutely nothing and free from all limitations. This is who we are looking forward to seeing at this conclave.

God Bless You, Overseer Reggie LaMont Brown, Sr.

to

It gives Deliverance Cathedral For All Nations and myself the awesome pleasure of hosting Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance 4th Annual Holy Convocation. We have been anticipating your arrival to the Michiana Area!!! It’s my sincere desire that each of you will have a rewarding learning experience during your stay with us. Each session is designed for your enrichment and enlightenment in all areas where you interact: in your homes, in the church, on your jobs as well as in your respective communities. For the earth which drinketh…. Indeed the rain many times is plentiful between the promise and fulfillment. However, it must need be... If fulfillment is to be realized. Fulfillment satisfies, answers curious thoughts and unasked questions, wipes the sneer off skepticism, causes occasional skips in one’s stride, spreads wide grins, provokes victorious tosses of the head, and breeds confidence in others that are waiting for fulfillment. In other words, fulfillment is joy unspeakable and full of glory! It’s Your Season, It’s Your Time and It’s Your Turn!!! Love and Blessing to All, Pastor Margaret Lawrence

Greetings to the Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance on Our

4th Annual Holy Convocation.

God is doing a new thing in the diocese of South Bend, IN. Souls are being saved and lives are being transformed. Home of the Victory & Restoration Remnant Center Church, South Bend, IN where a church that is ALIVE is worth the DRIVE. Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife... Revelation 21:9b’

Bishop and Elect Lady Christopher G. Williams

First Lady Sherry C. Lykes Congratulations Apostle Carl D. Lykes and the

Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance on our 4th Annual Holy Convocation!

I know that you are blessed and highly favored and in great anticipation of the coming of the Bridegroom. Surely, the hour is drawing nigh and we must be about our father’s business in the kingdom. I believe that the Lord has called the church to her finest and greatest hour. In fact, He has beseeched her to make herself ready for the marriage feast of the Lamb. Our theme, “The Immaculate Bride of the Immaculate Lamb”, is pushing us to a whole new dimension in God. Jesus expects the church to be ready for His coming and clothed in “the righteousness”. This is why He gave His life. Paul, when he wrote of the husband-wife relationship, stated that “Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:25-27).

In the book of Revelations, the great whore Babylon is destroyed and had to be destroyed before the true bride could come forth. As a church, we must realize that many of us were born into families that were both infected and affected by the spirits of this wicked nation. Spirits of materialism, commercialism, and selfism have caused us to lean to our own understanding, but I am so grateful that God is removing ever idol and through repentance, He is calling us unto Himself with great urgency. In fact, Romans 13:11 puts it this way, “And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed.” I must be ready when He comes! Thank you Apostle for your tireless service and love towards us. I am eternally grateful for the greatest lesson you have ever taught me and that is how to have a personal relationship with God and to really know Him for myself. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and wisdom. Most of all, thank you for the privilege of serving God’s people in this branch of Zion. I love you,

First Lady Sherry C. Lykes

Bishop Cecil Ezekiel Bridgeforth Grace and Peace be unto you from God our father and

the Lord Jesus Christ! We greet you with divine love, because if it had not been for the Lord on our side there’s no telling where we would be. I want to take this time to send forth Apostolic Greetings in welcoming you to Holy Convocation 2011 “The Immaculate Bride of the Immaculate Lamb”. As we embark upon this Holistic experience prepare yourselves for something new and something fresh, because there is a cloud of Glory that is over South Bend, IN where God is going to loose his angels to minister to those who are bound, troubled, unsaved, hurting, depressed, oppressed. It is a guarantee that you will not leave this Holy Convocation the same way you came, because there will be a mighty move of God that will overtake you and set you at the dimension that God intended for you to be. Without the sacrifice of the Immaculate Lamb sacrificing his life on Calvary, gave up the Ghost, died on the cross, buried in the heart of the earth, but early on the third day got up with all power in His hand we wouldn’t have the right to the tree of life, and for that “To God Be The Glory! Welcome to Holy Convocation 2011! Expect the unexpected! Shalom, Bishop Cecil Ezekiel Bridgeforth

Bishop Edward Greenlee Jr. Congratulations to the

Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance

on our Fourth, Holy Convocation It is with great pleasure that we convene again in praise, worship and honor of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Holy Convocation affords God’s people the important opportunity to convoke and celebrate the magnitude of what God continues to do for and through the body of Christ. It proves to be a favorite time of the year where AF COD members can gather to fellowship in love, peace and unity. Apostle Lykes you are a person of unquestionable integrity. I admire your devotion to the office and pray that God will continue to bless the Body of Christ with more leaders like yourself. Continue to excel.

Most Blessed, Bishop Edward Greenlee Jr.

We love you Apostolic Faith Churches of Deliverance family. “And he removed from thence, and digged another well: and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth: and he said for now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Gen. 26:22
