n 1956 Ramon “Pulita” Rodríguez, a humble craftsman native of the municipality of Tamboril in Santiago city, where is located the oldest tradition of fine cigars ‘Torcedores’ in the Dominican
Republic, decides to create a new business in the tobacco industry, that he called at that time Puros Cibao, changing its name in 1995 to the present, Tabacalera El Artista, headed by the youngest son of Don Pulita, Osvaldo Radhamés Rodríguez, who gave a major technological shift to the company, having the wisdom and the vision of take the company to a higher level, but preserving the quality principles, consistency and confidence with which it was created. To honor its founder and celebrate in style their sixty years, reaching this year, Tabacalera The artist, has launched “Pulita” cigar which has a great blend of six exceptional tobaccos, including grown and aged
tobacco by their own skilled craftsmen, to obtain this meticulously rolled Premium cigar. It’s about the Negrito leaves, perfectly aged, which gives the cigar a look like smooth Swiss chocolate. The used binder is Dominican Criollo 98 that adds body to a medium smoked experience and fillers consists of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Colombia and Pennsylvania that adds a great complexity to the different transitions of this exceptional cigar. Pulita comes in two sizes; the Robusto (5x50) and Toro (6 x 54) packaged in beautiful wooden boxes each containing ten cigars, to be enjoyed by refined palates. 4TO ANIVERSARIO 41
