Amendola Family Cigar Co. anuncia que han llegado a un acuerdo de distribución con Illusione Cigars. Illusione Cigars proyecta una amplia red de relaciones con minoristas en EE. UU. e internacionalmente, lo que expondrá aún más los cigarros premium de Amendola a los fumadores.

Jeffrey Amendola, un orgulloso nativo de Nueva York, lanzó Amendola Family Cigar Co. en 2017, pero su viaje con el tabaco comenzó en 2010. En su profesión anterior como oficial de policía, Jeffrey se involucró con los cigarros, en lo que comenzó como un pasatiempo. Su pasión por los cigarros creció y fue a Ybor Cigar en 2012. Allí aprendió a mezclar y liar cigarros premium bajo la dirección de Odelma Matos. En 2011, su educación como mezclador y rolero lo llevó a abrir una pequeña fábrica y una tienda de cigarros en Durham, Carolina del Norte; en su mente, el siguiente paso lógico era crear su propia marca, nombrada en honor a lo que más aprecia, la familia.

Amendola Family Cigar Co. announces that they have reached a distribution deal with Illusione Cigars. Illusione Cigars casts a wide net of retailer relationships across USA and internationally which will further expose Amendola’s premium cigars to smokers.

Jeffrey Amendola, a proud New York native, launched Amendola Family Cigar Co. in 2017, but his tobacco journey began in 2010. In his previous profession as a police officer, Jeffrey became immersed in what started as a cigar hobby.

His passion for cigars grew and traveled to Ybor Cigar in 2012. There he learned to blend and roll premium cigars under the direction of Odelma Matos. In 2011, his blending and rolling education led to opening a small factory and tobacconist shop in Durham, North Carolina, in his mind the next logical step was to create his own brand, named in honor of what he cherishes most, family.

Jeffrey Amendola said: “I am grateful every day to my grandparents who arrived in the United States from Italy, penniless, and created a better life for us.

Amendola cigars was created in honor of them and my Italian heritage. Together with my business partner and best friend, Christopher Monaco, we look forward to working closely with the Illusione Cigars team to further expose our story and Amendola Cigars

to the smoking public.”

Celebrando el Día Internacional de la Mujer, Tabacalera Palma y su equipo, dirigido por su presidente, José- JochyBlanco, organizaron un magnífico día especial para Damas que aportan a la industria del tabaco.

Iniciando con una bienvenida en sus jardines, recorrimos sus instalaciones en la zona franca La Palma, en Tamboril, donde tienen parte de sus almacenes y la fábrica de cigarros. José Manuel Blanco dirigió de manera profesional al grupo de Damas, ofreciendo interesante información sobre la procedencia de las hojas y cada uno de los procesos previos a la manufactura de los cigarros, respondiendo a todas las inquietudes del selecto grupo de invitadas.

Tras observar las fases de la manufactura, pasamos a un amplio jardín rodeado de bambúes, donde tuvimos el almuerzo, con la presencia de la experta mixóloga Rut Peña, quien creó una serie de tragos únicos, los cuales maridamos con las cuatro líneas principales de cigarros La Galera.

Celebrating International Women’s Day, Tabacalera Palma and its team, led by its president, José- JochyBlanco, organized a wonderful special day for Ladies who contribute to the tobacco industry.

Starting with a warm welcoming in their gardens, we toured their facilities located in the La Palma free zone, Tamboril, where they have part of their warehouses and the cigar factory. José Manuel Blanco professionally led the group of Ladies, offering interesting information about the origin of the leaves and each of the processes prior to the cigars manufacture, responding to all the concerns of the select group of guests.
