They are a fuller-body variant of the Davidoff Mini Cigarillos range—which includes the milder Silver and Gold variants—and is packed with rich and intense aromas. The Java binder leaf is wrapped with a dark brown Ecuadorian Habano seed wrapper, while the filler is a sophisticated mix of five different exotic tobaccos. The main component of the filler is dark, air-cured Criollo-type tobaccos from the Indonesian island of Java. The blend is finished with yet more dark air-cured tobaccos from both Italy as well as from Brazil’s Bahia region. The Platinum blend surprises the aficionado with an intense, more complex palate stimulation and a broad array of aromas which allow for a short moment to be filled with a rich experience. The Davidoff Mini Cigarillos PLATINUM blends flavors of cedar wood and leather with a subtle sweetness and a positive bitterness that underline the character of the cigarillo.
