Marble Tile Mosaics offer insights into Sacraments

Intercessory prayer is a major component of our Nights of Mercy. We pray as a large community for specific needs.

Induction Hearing Loops allow people who wear hearing aids to receive sound from the church’s sound system directly to their hearing aids.

“The Christian life begins with Baptism which is also the entryway to the rest of the sacraments and thus, the intentional connection with our Baptismal font.”

Your hearing aids will work if they have a telecoil or T-coil. Ask you audiologist if you have a telecoil.

Call your audiologist to see if you have a telecoil.

You may also call Dr. Lang from Audiology of Tulsa, 918-745-9052. If he can determine your hearing aid has a telecoil, he will activate it at no cost.

You’re welcome to borrow one of our receivers from the Sacristy before Mass. Bring you own earphones and listen with excellent quality.

Since Greg's diagnosis in June, he and I have been flooded with nonstop support and love from the St. Mary school/church community. For over two months one of us, if not both of us, receives at least one or more texts each day from different people: text messages of encouragement, support, and concern.

Our friends have watched our kids, made us meals, mowed our lawn, set up prayer times, said novenas, have had Masses said for us, and prayed for us. The priests and deacons check in on us. Miss Clements has reached out to us several times, and the teachers have personally contacted us. Greg and I have been blessed by the outpouring of love. It honestly feels like we have an extended family of hundreds of people at the church and school willing to do anything for us.

I think the most humbling thing is when parents tell us that their kids pray every night for Greg. It is these prayers along with those of our friends, family, and even strangers that Greg feels has made the biggest difference. Greg truly believes that the power of these prayers has helped him through the difficult times and given him strength and encouragement.

Monsignor Dorney to celebrate Fiftieth Anniversary

Mr. Paul Haney is the new coordinator of our RCIA program. RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, is the process by which the unchurched or non-Baptized become Baptized Christians. It is often the way that non-Catholics become Catholic.

Paul brings with him experience as a high school teacher. He is a familiar face to those who attend the 6:30 a.m. daily Mass.

He is often involved in Catholic sports.

Paul shares his hopes for this year, “My vision for the Saint Mary RCIA program this year's to introduce participants to Christ, to His mother, and to the wonderful Catholic church that we all belong to and hopefully leave them to an experience of Christ's presence.

“I look forward to meeting everyone in our RCIA group and sharing the journey with them.”

Andres Gonzalez honored as Bishop Kelley Valedictorian

Jake Szoeke is the music worship leader at the Sunday Evening Mass. Father Jack asked him to expand his role into Young Adults Ministry.

Sacraments of Vocation:

He says, “My vision for young adult ministry starts with engaging young adults as early as in their twenties to help them grow in their relationship with God by offering small groups community building activities and social events as well as encounter opportunities with our Lord.
