PARENTS E-NEWS January 2015 Remembering Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The CFS community honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week with special activities of remembrance. On Monday, local filmmaker Tony Chennault (pictured below), a former Villanova Wildcats point guard, spoke to the students about his passion for creating films about inner city life, and the important role mentors play in avoiding pitfalls. The next day, students created "Dream Flags," a project developed by the Agnes Irwin School. The flags are hanging throughout campus. Various activities are planned for February's Multicultural Month, as well. Upcoming dates of note:   

Faculty Profile: Stephanie Heerschap Stephanie Heerschap, foreign languages teacher and cottage faculty member, has been at CFS since 2008. Like most faculty and staff at CFS, those are just a few of the hats she wears! She also serves as an academic advisor, the 9th grade coordinator and grade level leader, is the co-advisor to the Multicultural Club (MCLUB), is a Conduct Review Board member, Middle States Planning team member, the costume coordinator for Pageant and an Admissions committee member. Stephanie studied at Siena College before getting her master's in foreign languages from Middlebury College. How do you think learning a foreign language prepares CFS students for the real world?
