1st Day (Monday, 15 April ‘24)
The Headmaster of the School, Kristinn Thorsteinsson and the teachers welcomed the Partners at Fjölbrautsskólinn í Garðabæ School.
The Headmaster presented Iceland, using Mentimeter Interactive presentation software, asking the students to answer questions about Iceland.

1st Day (Monday, 15 April ‘24)
… after the presentations and an icebreaking coffee break, teachers had a guided tour around the school premises and students participated in games with the Icelandic students.

… the first educational visit in Iceland was the guided tour at the Iceland Ocean Cluster, a company with main Role in Growing the Transatlantic Blue Economy, where the partners had a presentation about this Company..
… the OC 100% Fish Project is to inspire the seafood industry and seafood communities to utilize more of each fish … to increase employment, to decrease waste, to increase the range of productsmade out of fish in Iceland (Seafood, supplements, medical, design products…)
2nd Day (Tuesday, 16 April ‘24)
… as Iceland is a Geothermal Island, the Teams visited the ORKA NATTURUNNAR

EXHIBITION) and had a presentation about the production of electrical energy using the geothermalhot water and the new idea of turning CO2 into stones .
2nd Day (Tuesday, 16 April ‘24)
throughthe unique Icelandic landscape
...Teams visited the park, where they were informed about the use of Geothermal Energy, boiled their eggs on the ground using the geothermal hot water, walked around the park and enjoyed the little geysir (a hot spring characterized by intermittent discharge of water ejected turbulently and accompanied by a vapor phase) which was ejected every 8 to 9 minutes.
2nd Day (Tuesday, 16 April ‘24)
...Teams visited the FAXI Waterfall, a captivating waterfall boasting natural beauty and peaceful surroundings, located on the Tungufljot River in South Iceland. This waterfall possesses a distinct allure that makes it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts, adventurers and photographers.
2nd Day (Tuesday, 16 April ‘24)
… a family business run by a couple and their five children who are actively involved in cultivating tomatoes which are grown all year round despite the long and dark winter (all the premises are warmed by geothermal energy). There the partners had a guided tour and enjoyed tomatosoup withhomemade bread in the restaurant in the middle of the plantation.
2nd Day (Tuesday, 16 April ‘24) … back to Reykyavik…
…a Cow Farm which use geothermal energy and cooperates to farming innovators Lely company which represent animal and environmental friendly barn concepts and affordable, sustainable manure recycling.
…the teams visited the famous 32 meters high GullFoss (the Icelandic Golden waterfall which is the continuity of the HVITA River),

2nd Day (Tuesday, 16 April ‘24) … back to Reykyavik…
...the Thingvellir (Þingvellir literally means “Assembly Plains”) National Park a unique geographical setting of a rift valley dividing the North-American and Eurasian continental plates. There, teams walked around and they saw the consequences of the erosion of the earth's crust in the gorges and cracks in the area.
3nd Day (Wednesday, 17 April ‘24)
the Partners had a guided tour at 2 of them. These man-made caves have been discovered on the South coast of Iceland and its historical site is Iceland's oldest still standing archaeological remains and as some believe the caves date back in the settlement of the Nordic Vikings.
The most important during the guided tour was the mystery surrounds the caves, the Ancient signs on the wall (runic), their use and the hidden secrets
3nd Day (Wednesday, 17 April ‘24)
Visiting the SeljalandFoss …the most famous and breathtaking 60 meters high waterfall a part of the Seljalands River (its origin is in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajokull).
Students and teachers enjoyed the view and took a lot of photos from different points.
They also enjoyed the passing behind the waterfall in a special path and a small cave that allowed them to admire the size of the huge icy waterfall.
3nd Day (Wednesday, 17 April ‘24)
Before visiting the Black Sand Beach, the partners attended two presentations "Katla UNESCO Global Geopark (Renewable Εnergy and Tourism)" by Jóhannes M. Jóhannesson, manager and
"Tourism and Renewable Energy (Tourismin Mýrdalshreppur)" by Harpa Elin
3nd Day (Wednesday, 17 April ‘24)
…before returning to Reykyavik, students and teachers visited the famous Black Sand Beach VikurfJara. There, the students and the teachers walked along thebeach ,admired the huge waves of the ocean and …made their presence visible.
4th Day (Thursday, 18 April ‘24) Entrepreneurship Day
… a KAHOOT Questionaire as a follow up consolidation / confirmation of the knowledge of the Business Model Canvas Tool (written by the Greek Teachers).
… the crucial day for the LTTA and the entrepreneurial activities started with an informative u tube video about the Business Model Canvas Tool , and

… and a Farewell Dinner wherethe highlight of the day was a cake decorated with the logo of the project which everyone enjoyed very much.

students and teachers enjoyed a guided tour around Reykyavik, the Capital of Iceland, by an Icelandic teacher. They visited the Hallgrimskirka, the landmark of Reykiavik and enjoyed the nice view of the City from the 75 meters high bell tower. Moreover, they had the opportunity to enjoy the music of the unique enormous church organ.
5th Day (Friday, 19 April ‘24)
… the colourful Laugavegur, a pleasant part of the town, strolled around the popular shops with souvenirs, atmospheric restaurants, terraces, art studios and bars. Laugavegur is known for the colorful houses that really give the shopping street its unique character.

… the tour in Reykyavik ended by visiting the Town Hall and had a photo taken over the 3D morphological Map of Iceland
