what must I do to inherit eternal life?
In today's Gospel's passage, the Scholar of the Law asks Jesus: “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? When Jesus questioned him what the Mosaic law prescribed, he properly answered. He already knew that all the Judaic law could be summoned in the idea of loving God, and loving our neighbor
Even when the biggest obstacle for this purpose is to unveil who is my neighbor, the book of Deuteronomy, from where today's first reading is taken, has an answer for this question: “The command that I enjoin on you today is not too mysterious and remote. It is not up in the sky; nor is it across the sea. It is something very near to you, already in your mouths and in your hearts; you
have only to carry it out.” The problem with us is the fact that we easily identify ourselves with the one left half-dead. We do not usually think of ourselves as the one called to help all those in need.
The biggest problem is that we are used to seeing other people as objects, as things that we can use for our own benefit, without ever thinking of them as human beings, as equals to us.Today, at the Altar of the sacrifice where the Good Samaritan offers Himself for us, let us ask the Lord to become humble enough to recognize our neighbor around us. Let us ask for His grace to leave behind our indifference before our neighbor's suffering. Let us pray to get the strength needed in order to not quit from any occasion where somebody needs us. Let us pray to become compassionate and merciful enough to answer today's Jesus' call, namely,to “Go and do likewise!”

Religious Education Program
Registration 2025-2026
Registration for First Communion, RCIA, RCIC and Confirmation will start Sunday, July 13 from 9am -2pm. You can also register your children for the sacraments during this period by coming to the parish office Monday 1pm - 6pm,Tuesday - Friday from 12pm—6pm.
Remember we have limited space,do not wait to register. Pick up the application forms and bring it to the office soonest.
Documents that you'll need at the time of registration and other requirements
First Communion
Baptismal Certificate.
Birth Certificate.
The student must be 8 – 13 years old, be able to read and write in English.
RICA-RCIC

Baptismal Certificate.
Students who need the Sacraments of initiation must be 7 – 17 years old.
Adult RCIA students need to be 18 years old and up
Confirmation
A copy of the Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate and First Communion Certificate. The student must be in 8th grade or 13 - 17 years old.
Registration Fees is $200.00 each student, two and more students in the same family, $150 each.
