Saint Vincent de Paul: Recently, we helped twelve families stay in their homes, and helped seven families with PG&E bills, so they had heat this winter. We also helped with DMV fees, storage fees, and work permits. On the weekend of April 29-30, the second collection will be for community outreach Saint Vincent de paul. We hope that you will be very generous in your giving, so that we may continue to help those in need.

I know my sheep, they hear my voice, and they follow me
Today’s gospel presents before us one of the nicest and powerful analogies present in Scripture. Maybe originated in the oral traditions of the Aramaic tribes; the metaphor of the Good Shepherd guiding His flock, admirably conveys some of the aspects of the leadership role.
But the perfect role is represented by Jesus walking at the front of His flock. He is a shepherd that takes care, that heals, that leads back home; He is even open to lay down His life for His sheep. Jesus sheep listen to Him; they follow Him, they obey Him, they want to imitate Him, and to look like Him. Jesus sheep are no strangers for Him, they want to obey Him. While listening, they go further than the simple reception of sound. The real Christian disciple allows the message to permeate mind and heart.
In our daily lives, the consequences are uncountable. If we decide to follow the Good Shepherd, we will be unbound from all our chains; we will be free to follow Jesus’ teachings, the commandments of the Good Shepherd, always ready to promptly obey His voice, and to follow Him. Today, the Good Shepherd invites you to abandon yourself in the Good Shepherd’s arms, to follow Him, and to allow Him to rescue you from where you are!

Por los movimientos y grupos eclesiales Oremos para que los movimientos y grupos eclesiales redescubran cada día su misión evangelizadora, poniendo sus propios carismas al servicio de las necesidades del mundo.
La metáfora del Buen Pastor presente en nuestras lecturas representa el día de hoy dos caras de la misma moneda. Por un lado, la figura de la autoridad en donde el pastor es líder y acompañante. El será siempre el hombre fuerte dispuesto a defender a sus ovejas de las fieras salvajes.
Por otro lado, el pastor es aquel que delicadamente cuida del rebaño, aquel que conoce el estado y las añoranzas de cada miembro de su rebaño. Su dedicación le ayudará a adaptarse con prontitud a sus ovejas; y estará dispuesto a cargar sobre sus hombros a la oveja perdida.
Cuantas veces nos hemos puesto en riesgo aceptando falsos pastores para conducir nuestras relaciones o nuestra vida diaria. ¿Cuántas veces hemos permitido que el poder, la ambición, el reconocimiento, la envidia, el resentimiento, los celos, la depresión, el sexo, o el alcoholismo pastoreen nuestras vidas sin atender al llamado de nuestra conciencia?
Decidámonos hoy a seguir al buen pastor, encontraremos también el alimento, pero el alimento que nutre el espíritu, alimento que será transformado en alimento para la jornada, alimento que es libremente ofrecido en la Eucaristía. Será entonces que lograremos exclamar con el Salmista: “¡Somos su pueblo, ovejas de su rebano!” “¡El Señor es mi pastor, nada me puede faltar!”

Trong cuộc sống hằng ngày của chúng ta, những hậu quả thì vô lường. Nếu chúng ta quyết
định đi theo Đấng Chiên Lành, chúng ta sẽ được tháo gỡ khỏi mọi xiềng xích đang trói buộc chúng ta; chúng ta sẽ tự do để đi theo Chúa Giêsu, tuân giữ các giới răn của vị Mục Tử Tốt Lành, luôn luôn sẵn sàng vâng nghe tiếng Ngài, và đi theo Ngài. Hôm nay, Đấng Chiên Lành mời gọi chúng ta từ bỏ chính mình vào đôi tay của Đấng Chiên Lành, để theo Ngài, và được Ngài cứu độ!

All the groups using facility must submit the reservation request form to the office, a responsible person must have a fingerprint, a safe environment certificate and a waiver.
Please note: no cooking, no burners and no stoves allowed to use in the class room.
