IMPORTANT GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS TO ATTEND MASS:

DIRECTRICES Y PROTOCOLOS IMPORTANTES PARA ASISTIR A MISA

According to the Santa Clara County guidelines.

Effecive Tuesday, November 17th, all indoor Masses and worship services will be moved outdoor. We will also continue to livestream Masses for those who prefer to stay at home.

Please help us to keep the safety and health of all who attend Mass by observing the established safety protocols: • Bring your mask, wash your hands – No mask, no mass.

• Come at least 15 minutes early.

• Ushers will direct you to your seat.

• Please observe 6 feet social distancing at all times.

• Use your mask at all times throughout the duration of Mass.

• Stay at your designated space throughout the duration of Mass.

• Receive Communion in your hand, with mask on, then step aside remove your mask and use your free hand to place the Host in your mouth and put your mask back on.

• Collection baskets will not be passed but placed at entrance and exit for your offertory.

• Please do not stay after mass to allow us to disinfect all chairs, and other contact points before the next mass.

Sixth Sunday of the Ordinary Time

can make me clean.

In today’s gospel, Jesus already had put on the mantle of the miracle worker. Even when he was probably thinking that his sin was so horrible that not even God could forgive it, the leper had a glimpse of faith when he expressed: “If You want to, You can cure me.” Today’s miracle is different from others in the same gospel. It was performed immediately, without any preparation. Jesus did not look up to heaven; the leper was not taken aside; Jesus did not spat in the dirt. In other words, this fellow’s misery had to be terminated immediately. Through his actions, it is the leper who teaches us today how it is only our denial that will prevent us from being cured.

Today, we are invited not to fear those moments when we could become the secret lepers. We are invited to enter into the mystery of our own disabilities, even if they are hidden. Today, let us unveil those parts of our beings that contain our failures and sins, our vanities and deceptions, our jealousies and fakery. Jesus will reach out and touch all our soars. To really be a Christian disciple we need to become a sane person living in an insane world. The Christian disciple accepts the invitation to discover that we can reach out to those who are suffering; and to touch them with the healing power of Jesus Christ.

Today’s gospel is an invitation to emulate Christ’s actions in our daily lives. If He is indeed our way, our truth, and our life, we too can heal other lepers around us. We need not fear the visibly wounded who only reminds us of our human frailty. The excluded and the marginal, the ostracized and hidden await also our touch. The very old or the very ill are in need of our company and our care. Today, let us have the courage to pray for a faith strong enough to express for ourselves: “If You wish, You can make me clean!”

En el evangelio de hoy, Jesús tiene ya puesta la capa de hacer milagros. Aun cuando el leproso piensa que su pecado es tan grande que ni siquiera merece el perdón divino, un chispazo de fe lo acerca a Jesús diciendo: “Si Tú quieres Señor, puedes curarme.” El milagro de hoy es diferente de otros narrados en el evangelio. El leproso fue sanado inmediatamente y sin ninguna preparación. Jesús no miró al cielo; el leproso no fue llevado aparte ni Jesús escupió en la tierra. En otras palabras, la tragedia debía ser terminada inmediatamente.

A través de sus acciones, el leproso nos ensena hoy como es solo el no reconocernos culpables de nuestras faltas el único motivo que puede impedir el ser perdonados. La invitación consiste pues en revelarle a Dios nuestras faltas y pecados, nuestras vanidades y decepciones, nuestros celos y falsedades. El Señor estirara su mano, y curara nuestras llagas. El verdadero discípulo necesita convertirse en una persona sana viviendo en un mundo insano y hostil. El discípulo cristiano acepta la invitación a llevar consuelo a aquel que sufre; y a tocarlo con el poder sanador de Cristo.

El evangelio de hoy es una invitación a imitar a Cristo en nuestra vida diaria. Si Él es realmente para nosotros el camino la verdad y la vida, podremos ayudar a los leprosos a nuestro alrededor.

Necesitamos perderle el miedo al herido. El excluido, al marginado, al explotado, el hambriento y el desnudo esperan también que los toquemos.

Démonos cuenta de que el enfermo terminal y el anciano están en espera de nuestra compañía.

Pidamos hoy al Señor por una fe suficiente que nos permita exclamar siempre con convicción verdadera: “¡Si tú quieres Señor, puedes curarme!”

10. Vietnamese TRANG TIẾNG VIỆT CHÚA NHẬT THỨ VI MÙA THƯỜNG NIÊN Ngày 14 Tháng 2 Năm 2021 Cầu nguyện theo ý Đức Thánh Cha Ý chung: Bạo hành phụ nữ.

Chúng ta hãy cầu nguyện cho các phụ nữ là nạn nhân của bạo hành, để họ được xã hội bảo vệ, và nỗi đau khổ của họ được xem xét và lắng nghe HƯỚNG DẪN QUAN TRỌNG KHI THAM DỰ THÁNH LỄ Chúng ta không được cử hành Thánh lễ bên trong Nhà thờ kể từ Thứ Ba ngày 17 tháng 11 năm 2020. Thánh lễ sẽ cử hành ngoài trời, mỗi thánh lễ tối đa 100 người được phép tham dự.

Chúng ta cũng sẽ tiếp tục có Thánh lễ trực tuyến cho những ai không thể đến nhà thờ.

• Giáo dân có bất kỳ bệnh mãn tính có nguy cơ lây nhiễm cao xin yêu cầu ở nhà.

• Nếu bạn bị ho dai dẳng hoặc có nhiệt độ cao, vui lòng ở nhà.

• Các gia đình có con nhỏ (trẻ sơ sinh, trẻ mới biết đi và trẻ có nguy cơ dễ bị tổn thương) yêu cầu ở nhà.

• Giỏ thu tiền sẽ không được chuyển mà được đặt ở lối ra vào để qúy vị ủng hộ.

• Xin ra về ngay sau thánh lễ để chúng tôi khử trùng tất cả các ghế, tay nắm cửa, và các điểm tiếp xúc khác cho kịp thánh lễ tiếp theo.

• Giáo dân cao niên, tất cả những người từ 65 tuổi trở lên, được yêu cầu ở nhà.

Đóng Góp và hỗ trợ Giáo xứ Xin cám ơn qúy ông bà và anh chị em vẫn tiếp tục đóng góp ủng hộ Giáo Xứ trong thời điểm khó khăn nầy.

Theo yêu cầu của bộ y tế và Giáo Phận, chúng ta phải mua rất nhiều vật phẩm giúp bảo vệ sức khỏe và sự an toàn của tất cả những người đến để tham dự thánh lễ hoặc đến văn phòng Giáo Xứ .

Trong Phúc Âm hôm nay, Chúa Giê-su đã khoác áo choàng làm phép lạ. Ngay cả khi người bệnh cùi có thể nghĩ rằng tội lỗi của mình quá khủng khiếp đến nỗi ngay cả Thiên Chúa không tha thứ, người phung hủi đã có một chút đức tin khi anh ta bày tỏ: “Nếu Ngài muốn, ngài có thể khiến tôi nên sạch.” Phép lạ của ngày hôm nay khác với những phép lạ khác trong cùng Phúc Âm. Nó được thực hiện ngay lập tức, không có bất kỳ sự chuẩn bị nào.

Chúa Giê-su đã không nhìn lên trời; người phung hủi không bị gạt sang một bên; Chúa Giê-su không nhổ vào đất. Nói cách khác, sự khốn khổ của anh bạn này phải được chấm dứt ngay lập tức. Qua những việc làm của anh ta, chính người phung hủi đã dạy chúng ta ngày nay rằng chính sự từ chối của chúng ta sẽ ngăn cản chúng ta được chữa khỏi.

Hôm nay, chúng ta được mời gọi đừng sợ những khoảnh khắc mà chúng ta có thể trở thành những người phung hủi bí mật. Chúng ta được mời tham gia vào mầu nhiệm về những khuyết tật của chính mình, ngay cả khi chúng bị che giấu. Phúc âm hôm nay là một lời mời để theo gương của Chúa Ki-tô trong cuộc sống hàng ngày của chúng ta. Nếu Ngài thực sự là đường, là sư thật và là sự sống của chúng ta, thì chúng ta cũng có thể chữa lành những người phung hủi khác xung quanh chúng ta. Chúng ta không cần phải sợ hãi về người bị thương, họ chỉ nhắc nhở chúng ta về sự yếu đuối của con người mình. Những người bị loại trừ, bị gạt ra bên lề xã hội, bị tẩy chay và bị che giấu cũng đang chờ đợi sự đồng cảm của chúng ta. Người già hoặc người ốm rất cần sự đồng hành và sự chăm sóc của chúng ta. Hôm nay, chúng ta hãy can đảm cầu xin cho một đức tin đủ mạnh để xác tín với chính mình: “Nếu Ngài muốn, Ngài có thể khiến tôi nên sạch!”

Tuổi giữ chay: Giáo Luật, Điều 1252, dạy “Mọi người từ tuổi thành niên cho đến khi bắt đầu 60 tuổi, thì phải giữ chay; và Giáo Luật, Điều 97 Khoản 1, quy định: “Ai đã được 18 tuổi tròn mới là thành niên”.

Tuổi kiêng thịt: Giáo Luật, Điều 1252 “buộc những người từ 14 tuổi tròn”.

2. Về các yếu tố phụng vụ trong mùa Chay Trong mùa Chay, không được bày hoa trên bàn thờ và chỉ được dùng nhạc cụ để đệm cho giọng hát mà thôi; trừ Chúa Nhật IV mùa Chay, Lễ trọng, Lễ kính Có thể dùng màu hồng trong ngày Chúa Nhật IV mùa Chay” (CE 41, 252, 300). (còn tiếp)

Đáp lại sự quảng Đại của Thiên Chúa Lạy Thiên Chúa Khoan dung, chúng con biết tất cả mọi sự tốt đẹp đều đến từ Ngài, xin nhắc nhở chúng con luôn biết tri ân những gì Ngài đã ban cho chúng con, xin giúp chúng con dùng tài năng của mình để xây dựng vương quốc của Chúa, để chúng con có thể quảng đại chia sẻ tất cả mọi đặc ân Chúa ban cho chúng con theo ý muốn của Chúa, để chúng con có thể được Chúa mời gọi vào nhà của Chúa như những người quản lý tốt và trung thành.Amen.

Kinh nguyện 40 năm thành lập Giáo phận San Jose Lạy Thiên Chúa hằng sống và trung thành, tạ ơn Cha đồng hành với chúng con, đoàn dân Cha trong Giáo phận San Jose.

Xin cho Hội thánh nơi đây tràn đầy Thánh Thần, để những nỗ lực vì lòng Tin và lòng Mến đưa tha nhân đến cùng Chúa Giêsu, Con Cha, và sự bền chí trong niềm Vui và Hy vọng đỡ nâng những ai mệt mỏi vì sự bấp bênh.

Cùng với Thánh Giuse và Thánh Clara, chớ gì chúng con “Đồng hành trong Hy vọng,” và ngày ngày được thu hút đến gần Con Cha, là Ánh sáng, Hy vọng, và ơn Cứu độ chúng con, Đấng hằng sống, hằng trị cùng Cha, và Chúa Thánh Thần đến muôn ngàn đời.

Ever-living and faithful God, we give you thanks for walking with us, your people of this Diocese of San José Pour forth your Spirit on this local Church, that our works of Faith and labors of Love may lead others to Jesus, your Son, and that our endurance in Joy and Hope may lift up those weary from uncertainty.

Accompanied by Saint Joseph and Saint Clare, may we continue “Journeying Together in Hope” and day by day be drawn closer to your Son, our Light, ourHope, and our Salvati on, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

Dios eterno y - el, Te damos gracias por caminar junto a Tu pueblo, de la Diócesis de San José.
