This is the day the lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad
Today, we celebrate the third act of a drama that began on Holy Thursday when Jesus offered His body, and poured out His precious blood for others. On that day, Jesus showed us His unselfish love; He showed us His unconditional love by being among us as the one who serves.
On Good Friday, Jesus taught us how every act of unselfishness and love that we perform is a little dying. On that day, once Jesus was arrested, all His disciples, but one, remembered that they had something to do far away from Calvary. They did not realize that no one is ever ready to encounter Easter until he or she has spent time in the dark place where hope cannot be seen. Today, we are invited to discover how through dying there is happiness and life for those who are not afraid to walk the path of Jesus.
Easter began at the moment that the gardener said “Mary,” and she knew who He was. This is where the miracle happened, not in the empty tomb, but in the encounter with the living Lord. No one on earth can say what happened inside the tomb. There were no witnesses whatsoever; they all arrived after the fact. Two of them saw clothes, one of them saw angels, but as it turned out, that did not matter because the empty tomb is not the point.Easter is good news, good news to learn that truth is immortal, and that we are called to not give up what is right. Good news to discover that truth has triumphed over falsity, justice over injustice, goodness over evil, and tragedy has made our hearts light.

Por una cultura de la no violencia
Oremos por una mayor difusión de una cultura de la no violencia, que pasa por un uso cada vez menor de las armas, tanto por parte de los Estados como de los ciudadanos.
El día de hoy celebramos el tercer acto de un drama que inició el Jueves Santo cuando Jesús ofreció su cuerpo y su sangre por todos nosotros, dejándonos el mandato de hacerlo siempre en memoria suya. Ese día, Jesús nos mostró su amor incondicional despojado de todo egoísmo, cuando afirma que Él vino a nosotros como el que sirve.
El Viernes Santo, Jesús nos enseñó cómo cada acto de desprendimiento y amor que realizamos representa un morir poco a poco. Una vez que Jesús fue arrestado, todos sus discípulos, menos uno, se acordaron que tenían algo importante que hacer lejos del calvario. Ellos no advirtieron que para tener un encuentro pascual había que pasar primero por la obscuridad del sepulcro donde toda esperanza desaparece. El día de hoy somos invitados a descubrir cómo después de la muerte hay resurrección, felicidad y vida para aquellos que no temen seguir a Jesús.
Pascua inicia en el preciso momento en que el jardinero dice “María,” y ella inmediatamente sabe quién es el que la llama. Aquí es donde el milagro realmente ocurre, no en el sepulcro vacío, sino en el encuentro personal con Cristo resucitado. Nadie podría decir que pasó realmente al interior del sepulcro; no hubo un solo testigo; todo mundo llegó después de que todo había sucedido. Dos de ellos vieron mantos doblados, otro de ellos vio ángeles, pero de acuerdo a lo que sucedió después, eso no era lo importante, porque el sepulcro vacío no era, ni es el punto.
Pascua es evangelio, las buenas noticias que nos enseñan como la verdad es inmortal, y como somos llamados a jamás renunciar a lo que es verdadero. Buenas noticias para descubrir que la verdad triunfa sobre la falsedad, la justicia sobre la injusticia, la bondad sobre el mal, y la tragedia tiene poder de aligerar nuestros corazones.

Cầu cho nền văn hóa hòa bình và bất bạo lực
Chúng ta hãy cầu nguyện cho hòa bình và bất bạo lực được lan tỏa khắp nơi, nhờ các quốc gia và người dân biết giảm bớt sử dụng vũ khí.
At Christ the King parish we are a Catholic multicultural community, longing to become “One in Christ.”
Đây là ngày Thiên Chúa đã dựng nên, chúng ta hãy mừng rỡ hân hoan.
Vào Thứ năm tuần thánh chúng ta tưởng niệm lại Bữa Tiệc Ly của Chúa Giêsu (Chúa lập Bí Tích Thánh Thể). Ngài ban cho chúng ta Mình và Máu thánh châu báu của Ngài. Trong ngày đó Chúa Giêsu cũng ban cho chúng ta tình yêu bao la và vô điều kiện của Ngài.
Vào ngày Thứ Sáu Tuần Thánh, Chúa Giêsu dạy chúng ta phải thực hành một việc nhỏ đó là bác ái và yêu thương. Cũng trong ngày đó, khi Chúa Giê-su bị bắt, tất cả các môn đệ đã bỏ đi chỉ còn một môn đệ theo Ngài lên đồi Canvê. Họ không nhận ra sự Phục Sinh vinh quang cho đến khi họ gặp những đau khổ thử thách. Hôm nay, chúng ta được mời để nhận biết sự chết sẽ được vinh quang cho những ai không sợ hãi đi theo con đường Chúa Giêsu đã đi. Phục Sinh bắt đầu từ khi Chúa Giêsu gọi “Maria” và bà nhận ra Chúa là ai. Đây là nơi phép lạ đã xảy ra, không phải nơi mồ trống, nhưng trong việc gặp gỡ với Thiên Chúa hằng sống. Không ai trên trái đất có thể nói những gì đã xảy ra trong mồ. Không có nhân chứng nào cả; Họ đã tới đó sau sự kiện xảy ra. Please note: no cooking, no burners and no stoves allowed to use in the class room.
