Saint Vincent de Paul: Recently, we helped twelve families stay in their homes, and helped seven families with PG&E bills, so they had heat this winter. We also helped with DMV fees, storage fees, and work permits. On the weekend of April 29-30, the second collection will be for community outreach Saint Vincent de paul. We hope that you will be very generous in your giving, so that we may continue to help those in need.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Since antiquity, the brightest minds of the primitive Church have tried to find an explanation for the mystery of the Trinity. St. Augustine, one of the utmost theologians of the 5th Century, used to define the MHT with inspirational words, saying: “God the Father is the lover; Jesus is the beloved; and the HS is the love existing between the two.”
God is the almighty Father existing from all eternity, the one who in His infinite compassion and mercy created the whole universe. God, the creator of heaven and earth, is the one we call “The Father.” But this unbelievable and marvelous God has also an endless love for us His creatures. Today, St. Paul affirmed that we all are God’s creatures, coheirs with Christ in the infinite grace freely offered for all God’s children. The Father is then the compassionate lover, and the Son is His beloved.
God is the source of all perfection, and His love, the power that holds us united as one body is His Spirit; His HS is the power that binds us together as a community. God’s presence that pushes us to go out from our comfort zones, and to share the good news with all people, is His Holy Spirit that we received last weekend.
Every time we approach the altar where the perfect sacrifice is offered in a Trinitarian way, let us rejoice because God the Father accepts our humble offerings of bread and wine, and by the power of the HS, He transforms them into the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us pray to Him to make us wise, and humble enough to understand His Trinitarian nature.

Oremos para que la comunidad internacional se comprometa concretamente en la abolición de la tortura, garantizando el apoyo a las víctimas y sus familias.
Desde los primeros siglos de la Iglesia, las mentes más brillantes han tratado de explicar la Trinidad. San Agustín, el célebre teólogo del siglo V describe la Santísima Trinidad de una forma inspiradora cuando dice: “El Padre es el que ama, el Hijo es el Amado, y el Espíritu Santo es el amor que brota entre ellos.”
Dios es el Padre maravilloso que existe desde la eternidad, y quien en su infinita misericordia creó el universo y todo cuanto contiene. Dios, el creador del universo es a quien nos referimos cuando decimos “El Padre.” Pero este Dios maravilloso es también poseedor de un amor maravilloso. De acuerdo al apóstol San Pablo somos creaturas de Dios, coherederos con Cristo de la gracia infinita ofrecida a los hijos de Dios. Dios es pues un amante maravilloso, y el Hijo es el amado.
Dios posee un amor maravilloso, y el poder de este amor, el poder que nos mantiene unidos como un solo cuerpo es precisamente el Espíritu Santo. La unidad de la comunidad, el poder de Dios con nosotros, la presencia de Dios actuando en nuestras vidas y que nos impulsa a salir de nuestro confort y a compartir la buena nueva con todos los pueblos, esto es el Espíritu Santo que recibimos la semana pasada.
Cada vez que celebramos la Eucaristía en el altar, lugar en donde el sacrificio perfecto es ofrecido de forma Trinitaria, alegrémonos porque Dios Padre acepta nuestra humilde ofrenda de pan y vino, y mediante del poder del Espíritu Santo la transforma en Cuerpo y Sangre de su Hijo nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Pidámosle la humildad, la fuerza, y la sabiduría necesaria para entender el misterio de su naturaleza Trinitaria.

Hôm nay Thánh Phao-lô quả quyết rằng tất cả chúng ta là tạo vật của Thiên Chúa, đồng thừa hưởng với Đức Kitô trong ân sủng vô biên được ban cho con cái Thiên Chúa. Chúa Cha là Đấng từ bi yêu thương, và Chúa Con là Con yêu dấu của Ngài
