Christ’s College Boat Club Camp Update 2024

Overall we had a very successful camp in Seville. Near perfect weather and a beautiful river saw our novices progress rapidly. Though we did experience some fog on the water that prevented a full fleet going out the first few morning sessions, this gave us the opportunity to do some full club circuits (where the positioning of jump squats following speed squats made for a particularly challenging loop), as well as take out a senior 8 while the novices received coaching on the ergs. With all you can eat food, our rowers had plenty of fuel for their 3 sessions a day and by the end of camp were successfully hitting race pace.
