Why runes? Runes, or rather, the runic alphabet, was used by ancient Germanic populations

in many areas of Europe, as far as Iceland.

Their origins seem to be intertwined in the meeting of Northern European and Latin and Etruscan cultures. On disappearing from common use as an alphabet, runes remained a part of culture representing divine tools.

Written on small pieces of wood and kept in a bag, they were used by druids to consult the future.

We have chosen the rune Dagaz to represent your journey on the road to happiness under the auspices of a positive symbol.

The traditional meaning of Dagaz is “day�. It is usually associated with the dawn of a new day, when darkness transforms into light.

It indicates the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. The change will be explosive.

It can occur in the form of a drastic change of behavior or circumstances in a situation that completely turns itself on its head.

Whether it be internal or external, the transformation will be extreme.

It will make you lead an entirely different life and see it in an entirely different way.

Complete trust is essential, and you may be asked to throw yourself into an abyss blindfolded and unarmed.

Now is the time to begin. Although powerful and complex as a result of its association with drastic changes in forces, Dagaz is positive and usually announces the arrival of a period of success and prosperity. You will manage to overcome obstacles and head towards victory.

why this book?_ happiness Who wouldn’t want to be happy? No one, of course!

We are all aiming to achieve happiness, which often appears as a mirage, a utopia.

Instead, we believe that it is an achievable goal, and not through a fortunate life coincidence, but thanks to a path, a route.

This book is a guide along this route, like a mountain guide that takes you up to the top of the mountain you’ve decided to scale.

And like the best mountain guides, we too have had to learn from some of the individual techniques in order to offer them to you the reader.

A true and sincere thanks therefore goes to all the people who have given me valuable advice that I have tested myself on my own way to happiness, and to all the people who have stood by me during the writing of this book.

A book that for me has already represented a little great exercise in happiness!

We do not give you a magic formula that you just have to try to apply and it all ends there.

Design your happiness in 365 Days will be with you for 365 days, 52 weeks, and will support you all the way... to the summit!

We do not in fact believe that we can achieve happiness in an instant.

There are moments of pure happiness. That’s just it: we want to help you the highest number possible of these. And not turn back.

This book does not contain just a sole idea on how to do this, but many little great tips to try, day after day, week after week, for a whole year.

Always remember that your idea of happiness Take advantage of this book to reach it!

how to use this book This is a bookplanner with 52 challenges that you can complete in a year, one each week, to achieve your happiness.

Feel free to start whenever you like.

“Design your happiness in 365 Days” was not meant to be read all at once.

Instead, consider the possibility of surfing it, concentrating on a small chapter each week.

The following week, open the book and concentrate on the second chapter, and so on. We’ll call it “single-tasking”. It is not necessary to try to follow all the advice proposed in the book. You can simply collect 10 aspects, or 20, and focus on these, putting them into practice for two or three weeks.

You can choose 12 and apply one a month. Not all 52 recommendations are appreciated by everyone.

Just keep focusing on one of the others, or take a break. However... if you think that all 52 tips could lead to your idea of happiness, feel free to follow them all.

You do not have to follow the order in which they are proposed, but it might be fun to try.

“Design your Happiness in 365 Days” contains 52 challenges that I have tried personally and that I think are the most important. Why exactly are there 52 rather than 45 or 73? Also for a matter of practicality: in a year there are 52 weeks, 52 challenges, one per week. I could have chosen 12, but that would have been less fun!
