RAFS systems is an experimental prototype for a customizable rigid framing utilizing fabric capabilities, inspired by stealth design and its efficiency. By having a customizable distancing for frames, the tensions can span distances that are suited for its intention. RAFS in addition, utilizes movability using heavy-duty casters with brake locks. Fabric implementation can also utilize its daylight penetration advantages, impressive spanning ratios, and insulation possibilities (by adding insulating foam between layers).
The key capabilities of RAFS is its customizability and placement. It can be placed in any site with varying slope by using simple profiles such as ground stakes, steel cables, and thread distancing. With its primary framing, attachments can be implemented such as fabric partitioning (to divide into 2-3+ rooms), mosquito nettings, hammock systems, sign placement, general wall partitioning, and many more potentials.
Its intended purpose is for refugee housing, temporar
