Education Experience About me
My name is Christian Breuckmann and I come from Brazil. I’m graduate product designer at Universidade Federal do Paraná (Curitiba) and I moved to Germany looking for new challenges. Currently I’m a master student at Kunsthochschule Berlin (KHB), with focus in mobility. I wrote my bachelor thesis about how product design could improve the living and working conditions from informal trash recyclers, creating a concept that could be implemented on the formal city cleaning system. I am applying to this intern postition because I think that this would be an amazing way to increase and develop my knowledge and I believe that I’m ready to contribute to design the mobility solutions of the future.

FORD EVGT90 EVOLVE 2
An electrified vision of a unique concept

HISTORY AND CHALLENGE PERSONA
Presented to the public in 1996 at the Detroit Auto Show, the Ford GT90 Concept was a single of it’s species. Powered with V12 motor, and dressed as classic Ford’s New Edge design philosophy, this concept never made it to the streets, but still vivid in my memory. In this project I try to update this classic Ford concept car.

The Ford GT90
Alwin George, 48 years old, american citizen living in europe, former neurosurgeon. Astronomy enthusiast. Participates actively in debates about future making and ecological issues. Has a car collection with several Ford cars, including a Mustang Mach 3 and a Ford GT40.

BRIEFING

Artificial inteligence, end of fossil fuel, a new society and creative ways of travel. In this project I developed a cruise on wheels for the year 2089. The Scandinavian design of Polestar and the artworks of the artist Syd Mead were my inspiration.

What is future of the future mass transportation?

At the rear, a large magnetic field is used to support other passengers who prefer to travel in their own vehicles. The concept is based on the relationship between remoras and whales in nature.

GEELY ANTIMATTER 5
Haptic racer
I propose an initial design study for future Geely models expanding the universe. Being a racing car controlled by body movements outside the vehicle, the package proposal can be more radical.

When matter and anti-matter meet, they annihilate each other instantly, releasing lot of energy. Inspired by Geely’s “Expanding Cosmos” philosophy, Hangzhou’s classic and modern architecture, ANTIMATTER tries to establish a perfect balance point between different shapes, generations and interactions.
“EXPANDING COSMOS”

PERFECT BALANCE
Geely Starburst Concept (2021)
According to the Standard Model of Physics, every particle has an “antiparticle” with properties and electrical charge exactly opposite to its own. The concept of antimatter was proposed by the English physicist Paulo Dirac in 1928, when he revised Einstein’s famous equation where mass could be negative. Antimatter cannot be found on planet earth. But in recent decades, scientists have been able to create tiny amounts of matter in the laboratory.

TAPE RENDERING

In this 3-day workshop at Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin we developed a 1:1 tape rendering on the wall using 2 layers of translucent paper and mask tapes in four different widths (0,3mm/0,6mm/0,9mm/12mm).

HONORABLE MENTION “la dolce vita design contest“
In 2019 I created the “Brazilian Auto Designers“ page on Instagram (@brazilianautodesigners). There, I try to curate and make car designers from my country get noticed by big media and another designers. I organized three times, design contestm where I invite famous brazilian designers to judge the works. On the second where the Theme was “la dolce vita“, I decided to send my own work, inspired by the travel I made to Veneza on 2020.
