InMay2025,ChristelHouseIndiaincreasedthecapacityofitsBangaloreschoolby50%.Thisgrowthwillallow 630morechildrentoaccessChristelHouse’sholisticmodelofeducation,bringingtheschool’stotalreachto nearly1,890studentsandgraduates.Itmeansmorefamiliesfindinghope,moredreamsbeingnurtured,and morefuturesbeingrewritten.Andwe’renotstoppingthere.

I’mthrilledtosharethatwe’vealsosignedanMoUtoopenathirdChristelHouseschool,inPune,inpartnership with Pune Zilla Parishad. The school is scheduled to open in April 2026 with Grades KG-Grade 2 and will ultimatelygrowtoserveapproximately2,640studentsandgraduates.It’sabigstepforwardinourmissionto reachmorechildrenwhoneedusmost.

Inside our classrooms, the momentum has been just as strong. For the seventh year in a row, every single studentinourGrade12classof2025passedtheirboardexams,withFirstDivisionresultsacrosstheboard. AtChristelHouseAtalNagar,wecelebratedahistoricmomentasourfirstGrade10classappearedforthe BoardExamsandsecured94%passrate.

Evenmoreexciting!Forthefourthconsecutiveyear,100%ofourgraduatesareheadingtotertiaryeducation. That’sadreamcometrueformanyofourstudents andtheirfamilies.

And it’s not just academics where our students are shining. Our girls’ football team, representing Alchemy FootballClub,playedintheKarnatakaB-DivisionWomen’sLeague.Threeofourgirlswereshortlistedforthe U-13statetrialsunderKSFA.That’sthekindofconfidence,talent,andresilienceweseeeverydayatChristel House.

BANGALORE EXPANSION:

ChristelHouseBangaloremarkedasignificantmilestonein May 2025 with a 50% expansion in school capacity. This expansion enables us to reach more children from underserved communities, offering them access to a transformativelearningenvironmentinBangalore.

Withtheenhancedcapacity,anadditional630studentswill benefitfromChristelHouse’sholisticmodel,whichintegrates strong academics with nutrition, healthcare, life skills, and sustained support beyond Grade 12 through our College & CareersProgram.Withthisgrowth,ChristelHouseBangalore will eventually serve nearly 1,890 students, further strengthening our mission to break the cycle of poverty throughholisticeducation.

LAUNCHING: SCHOOL IN PUNE

Christel House India stands at the threshold of a powerful new chapter, reaffirming our commitment to transform the lives of children from underserved communities through a value-based, holistic education that nurtures dignity, opportunity, and the promiseoflifelonggrowth.

In alignment with the transformative philosophy of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule, who believed education to be the most powerful tool for dismantling inequality and fostering social justice, we are proud to announce the launch of the Jyoti Savitri InternationalSchool(JSIS)inPune.JSISwillbeoperated byChristelHouseIndiaandissettoopeninApril2026.

Rooted in a strong partnership with the Pune Zilla Parishad, the villagers of Khanavdi, and Pensive Architecture Company, JSIS campus spans over 12 acres of land. The school will cater to children from families experiencing extreme poverty across the vast neighbourhood in Pune The school will adopt the globally proven Christel House model, already transforming lives in Bangalore (Karnataka) and Atal Nagar (Raipur, Chhattisgarh), focused not just on academicoutcomesbutlifeoutcomesbynurturingthe wholechild.

The construction of Phase 1 of the school building, coveringabuilt-upareaof5,515squaremeters,began in2020–21withsupportfromFIATIndiaAutomobilesPvt. Ltd. through its CSR initiative. This phase includes 24 classrooms, modern science and computer labs, administrative spaces, creative learning zones, and modernsanitationfacilities. Theschoolwillbeginwith kindergartentoGrade2andwillexpandbyaddingone gradeeachyear,eventuallyservingstudentsfromearly years through Grade 12. Post Grade 12, Christel House India will support all graduates to pursue tertiary education based on their interests and aptitudes. Additionally,ChristelHousesupportwillcontinueforone yearaftertheybeginemployment.

From the moment she stepped through the gates of Christel House India as a kindergartner, Pavithra found more than just a school—she found a family. Raised by a single mother who worked multiple jobs to support her, Pavithra faced many challenges growing up, but Christel House provided the stability and care that made all the dierence.

“Povertywasthegreatestchallenge,”admitsArun,“butit strengthenedmetoovercomeandbreakthecycle.”He’sproud tohavebeenpartofthefirstgraduationclassfromChristel HouseIndia.TheCollege&Careersprogramwasnewwhenhe wasgettingreadytograduate.Butfromthebeginningitwas makingadifferenceforstudents.“Theyguidedmeinchoosing thepathIaspiredtofollowdespitethechallengestheyfaced aswewerepartofthefirstbatch.”Hewentontouniversityand earnedaB.SCinPhysics,Mathematics,andElectronics.

When Anish joined Christel House as a kindergartener, he didn’t just start school; he stepped into a support system that would transformhislife.Growingupinafamilystruggling with poverty, he found at Christel House not just education,butstability,nourishment,andcare.

“Christel House helped break the cycle of economichardshipformyfamily,”herecalls.With access to full-day care, nutritious meals, and holistic support, Anish could focus on learning while his parents had the space to improve their ownlives.

At Christel House, Anish thrived. As head boy, he discovered confidence and leadership He represented Christel House in district-level football and explored new interests through hands-on experiences like SAP Robotics His academic journey led him to earn a B.Com in Tourism and later, an MBA in Marketing and Finance.

Today, Anish is living the dream he once only imagined He runs A&R Company a multivertical enterprise involved in digital marketing, travel,co-working,andrealestate.“ChristelHouse didn’tjusteducateme,itpreparedmeforlife,”he says. “I’m living my dream today because of the foundationtheygaveme.”

Sowmya joined Christel House India at the age of five. Growing up in a single-parent home with limited resources, her early life was marked by uncertainty. When she reflects on those beginnings, she says: “Christel Housegavemedreams,love,andthecouragetochasethem.”

She may have felt adrift as a child, but Christel House offered stability, a place where she was nurtured, encouraged, and seen. With access to qualityeducation,dailymeals,andasafeenvironment,Sowmyabeganto thrive.

Hergrowinginterestinscienceandherdeepdesiretomakeadifferenceled her to pursue a degree in Biotechnology. Today, she works as a Technical Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, supporting global customers and bringing bothskillandempathytoherrole.

“ChristelHousedidn’tjustshapemyacademics,itshapedwhoIam,”she says.

Practicing Advocate, Karnataka Lower & High Courts

Girish joined Christel House India at the age of five, the son of a painter,inafamilywheremostnevermadeitpastmiddleschool. Today,hestandsasthefirstlawyerinhisfamily,practisinginboth the High and Lower Courts of Karnataka, a powerful example of howopportunitycanrewritegenerationalstories.

“While others chose private schools, my father couldn’t afford such schools. But Christel House gave me what money never could,education,nourishment,healthcare,andtheconfidenceto believeinmyself,” hesays.

Girish’s early years were humble, but Christel House gave him somethingfargreaterthanjustaccesstoeducation;itgavehim exposure,encouragement,andself-worth.

Whatstartedasthejourneyofaplayful,averagestudentevolved into that of a determined advocate. Today, Girish offers legal counsel, provides pro bono services, and works to raise legal awarenessamongunderservedcommunities.

“EverytimeIspeakincourt,IcarryChristelHousewithme,”hesays. “Theydidn’tjusteducateme;theyempoweredmetoservejustice andupliftotherslikeme.”

POORNIMA

Class of 2015 Tactical Buyer, IBM (Procurement & Supply Chain)

For Poornima and her sister, growing up without the presence of their parents meant facing life challenges at a very young age. With limited financial means and relying on the support of extended family, each day wasatestofresilience.

TheirlivesbegantochangewhenChristelHouseIndiasteppedin“Wewere poorandhadnoonetocareforus.ChristelHousedidn’tjusteducateus,they gaveusafamily,”shesays.

Morethanjustaschool,ChristelHouseprovidedthemwithmeals,uniforms, emotionalsupport,andaboveall,asenseofdignityandbelonging.Itwasa place where Poornima felt seen, supported, and safe, a foundation that wouldshapetherestofherlife.

Despitetheodds,PoornimapursuedaB.CominAccountancy&Financeand is now completing her MBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management. Today,sheworksasatacticalbuyeratIBM,deliveringkeycostsavingsand managing critical projects. “Every decision I make traces back to the resilienceChristelHouseinstilledinme,”sheshares.

CHRISTEL HOUSE ATAL NAGAR

Inlinewithitsmissiontobreakthecycleofpovertythroughqualityeducation,ChristelHouseAtalNagar(CHAN)focused onholisticstudentdevelopmentduringtheacademicyear2024–25.Awiderangeofinitiativessupportedacademic growth,characterbuilding,health,andcareerawareness,ensuringstudentsgainednotjustknowledgebutlifeskillsfor long-term success. We celebrated a historic moment as our first Grade 10 class appeared for the Board Exams and secured94%passrate.

The CHAN Speaker Series and career guidance sessions connected students in Grades 6–10 with professionals from fields such as the Merchant Navy, journalism, finance, and healthcare, offering real-world exposure and practical learning.TheBuildOurBoysandBuildOurGirlsprogramspromotedemotionalwell-being,self-awareness,andgendersensitivehealtheducation,creatingsafe,supportivespacesforadolescentdevelopment.

Students represented the school in several interschool competitions, excelling in sports, science, the arts, and academics. Internal events like the Annual Tech-Fest, Math Exhibition, and Agricultural Fest fostered creativity and innovation.LeadershipandcitizenshipwerenurturedthroughStudentCouncilElections,theYouthParliament,andcivic awarenesssessions.Health,mentalwell-being,digitalresponsibility,andenvironmentalsustainabilityremainedstrong focusareas.

Together,theseeffortsreflectCHAN’sunwaveringgoal:toempowerstudentsfromunderservedbackgroundswiththe tools,values,andconfidencetobuildabrighterfuture.

KIRTAN K

Grade 10, Christel House Atal Nagar

Kirtan, a Grade 10 student, stands out for his discipline, sincerity,andcommitmenttolearning.Inthe2024–2025 academicyear,heexcelledinMathematicsandScience, inhisCBSEBoardExaminations.

Kirtandreamsofbecominganengineerandisespecially drawn to Science and Computer Studies. “I want to supportmyfamilyandgivebacktomycommunity,”he shares. In the Computer Lab, he enjoys exploring programming and learning through experimentation. Kirtan’s journey is a powerful reflection of leadership, purpose,andabrightfutureahead.

MARIA ANGELINE

Grade 8, Christel House Bangalore

Maria Angeline, one of our 8th-grade students who got selected for a highly selective opportunity to be part of HundrED's Youth Ambassador Programme. This global initiative, in partnership with the International Baccalaureate (IB), unites passionate young individuals aged13to19,empoweringthemtodevelopandenhance social impact projects that address the Sustainable DevelopmentGoals(SDGs).

“Your voice matters,” Maria says, a lesson she’s putting into practice as she rallies her community and plans to approach local government for change. Maria's journey exemplifies the spirit of this programme. She is actively developing a blog platform aimed at highlighting communities in need, sharing their challenges, and connectingthemwithpotentialsupporters.

Christel House’s overhead and fundraising costs are funded annually through charitable grants from Endless Success Foundation, a private foundation established by our Founder. This means that 100% of your donation will be used to directly support programs and services for Christel House students.
