Project Description:
Outdoor Theatre Space
CAMÉ is a platform for creation, experimentation and exposition dedicated to new artistic forms and media. Its mission is to provide a space of work and contemplation for the artists in residence. During six months, the artists are invited to conceive and realize an artistic project that will then be presented to the public. The artists can use their surroundings in any way they see fit via inspiration, incorporation, or installation. By this process the quarry and its surroundings become activated in a way that the area has not seen since the days of its excavation in the nineteenth century. The influx of visiters will, in turn, help revitalize the neighboring town of Tercé.
