3 STEPS TO FINDING CLARITY IN YOUR BUSINESS
3 STEPS TO FINDING CLARITY IN YOUR BUSINESS by: Jeff Elder
One of the questions I get is, “How do I find the clarity I need to move forward?” Too many people stay stuck because they lack clarity. Finding clarity in your business is all about asking the right questions. In my experience, there are three core questions that, if answered, will provide the clarity you need to propel your business forward.

Here are the three questions that you need to answer. 1. What’s your superpower?; 2. Whom do you serve?; 3. How do you deliver your solution? Let’s take a closer look at these questions.

Get clear on your superpower
Before making any progress in your business, you need to be honest with yourself about what you’re good at and not. Unfortunately, I see too many business owners spinning their wheels and getting nowhere because they work outside their superpower.
To identify your superpower: What problem do people have that you know you can solve because you deliver consistent results? How do others describe how you’ve helped them? Does what you do energize you or drain you?
By answering these questions, you’ll be on your way to discovering your superpower.
Get clear on who you serve
There’s a saying, “try to help everyone and you’ll end up helping no one. I see this all the time with clients when I ask them who they serve. They rattle off a list of so many types of people. Life and business will be so much easier if you can just pick one type of client. Why? Because it’s easy to dig deep into the needs, wants, desires, goals, and challenges of one type of client than having to learn those things with multiple clients.
When you get to know your ideal client on that deep of a level that is when you can serve them well. Serving one type of client also increases the amount of what you charge. The reason for that is because you become the go-to expert for that particular audience. You know them well. You serve them well. It’s also easier to deliver consistent results over and over again.
Get clear on how you deliver your solution
Your superpower answers the question of how you can uniquely help your clients and what your solution is for them. Getting specific on whom you serve makes it easier to serve them and get consistent results for that audience. Next, you need to know how you will deliver your solution to your unique audience.
Here are some things to consider as it relates to how you will deliver your solution. Will you create a product? How about a coaching program?
Can you wrap up your solution and sell it as a course? Do you want to start a membership group and have people pay you monthly to have access to your solution? Perhaps it’s an online or brick-and-mortar store. We live in an age of endless possibilities in terms of how we can deliver our solutions to our clients. You just need to do what feels right to you and then go for it!
Let’s recap the three steps to finding clarity in your business. First, you need to discover your superpower. Next, stop trying to serve everyone and get specific about your who. Lastly, figure out how you will deliver your a solution to your specific audience.
Here’s to having more clarity in your business and setting yourself up for greater success.
