The Faithfulness of Jesus – Faithfulness (PART 1) The faithfulness of Jesus Chris is unparalleled and completely true, and it has been proven many times. In the Holy Scriptures, we can read a series of circumstances testifying faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 6:18 says God cannot lie, nor can He break an unconditional promise that He says He will fulfill. Every covenant He made is kept. Every promise or foretelling has or will come true. Testimony after testimony of God’s faithfulness is certainly found throughout the Bible and is still given in testimonies by people today.

Faithfulness is being committed to a cause and a person. It is something that describes how committed you are towards what you say and what you do. Faithfulness brings uniqueness to your character. It makes you trustworthy, regardless of the circumstance. People do believe you and respect you, too. Faithfulness gives you clarity of purpose, a definiteness and direction. We are looking at the purposeful commitment of Jesus Christ with clarity and distinction. We likewise are not just following Jesus blindly or hanging on to religion; we are committed to the purpose for what the son of God incarnated thousands years ago.

It is important for you to know that faithfulness does not just work in your life; it’s your decision to be faithful and have faithfulness in your character. Heb 3 v 1 – 2: “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; who was faithful to him that appointed him, as Moses was faithful in all his house. In this scripture, we see the faithfulness of Jesus as a character; Jesus was faithful to God who appointed him. The Bible says we should be imitators of Jesus; we should have the character of Christ and be like him.” Heb 2 v 17: “Wherefore in all things it beloved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.” John 4 v 34: Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Also read Rev.1:5; Rev.3:14 (NIV). Testimonies of Faithful Men in the Scriptures Faithful men and women have always been the most important characters of God’s program. There are scriptures that testify that God did great things with their lives. We are presenting some examples describing faithful men in scriptures, take a look. Abraham: God found Abraham to be faithful: Nehemiah 9 v 7 – 8; Genesis 18 v 19; Galatians 3 v 9. Moses: Moses was faithful in God’s house; he did everything that God asked him to do. God testified that Moses was more than a prophet and was faithful. Hebrews 3 v 1 – 2, Numbers 12 v 6 -7. David: Ahimelek, the priest of God, testified that David was a faithful man: 1 Samuel 22 v 14. Through the scriptures mentioned, it is evident that their primary dedication, commitment and loyalty were first to God. We, being the children of Heavenly

Father, should be faithful to Him and be rebellious to such things that are legitimate with the Word of God. So, be faithful to God, to His Word, to His children in order to lead a victorious and respectful life.
