CHRG Connect+

1. INTRODUCTION

At CHRG (Castle Hill RSL Group) our people are our biggest asset and having a ‘connected’ team is critical to our success.

Underpinned by our values of Community, Hospitality, Respect and Growth, the CHRG Connect program aims to create a connected team by providing meaningful benefits, meaningful and timely reward and recognition, a safe and positive environment, connection to our community and support for our team’s physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

The purpose of this policy is to define CHRG’s Connect initiative and to ensure a fair, consistent, and transparent approach to connecting and engaging our team members.

This policy applies to all team members of CHRG.

2. CHRG CONNECT CARD

All team members will be issued with a CHRG Connect card upon commencement. This card will entitle team members to a range of discounts throughout our venues, as outlined in this policy.

CHRG Connect cards can only be used by the card holder and are not transferable. The card holder must be present when using the discount for any group-based discounts. And as such, the card’s photo identification will be used for verification purposes at the point of sale.

CHRG Connect cards, and any associated discounts and benefits, will be disabled immediately upon end of employment.

Note: Holding a Connect card does not replace the need to meet the standard entry requirements into any of our licenced venues. When not working, team members are required to meet the entry requirements as outlined in the Conditions of Entry Policy

Note: Some personal information will be stored on an electronic database to facilitate the administration of connectᶧ cards. All information will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy

3. DISCOUNTS

3.1.Food and Beverage

All CHRG team members are entitled to a 30% discount on purchases of food and non-alcoholic beverages across all CHRG venues. The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• The discount will be applied to the ‘Visitor’ pricing.

• This discount is available for purchases at any time, either on or off shift.

• The discount can be used for up to 6 people, including the card holder.

• The discount will be applied upon presenting your connectᶧ card at the time of sale. No card, no discount.

Note: this discount is not currently available for food and beverage purchases at Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre due to system connectivity issues.

3.2.Coffee Super Special

In addition to tea and coffee facilities provided in staff rooms across our venues, all CHRG team members are entitled to free or discounted coffee from the following venues:

• CP Gaming Service Bar: Large coffee with milk or milk alternative - $2.50; with BYO Cup - $2.00.

• CHRSL Gaming Service Bar: Large coffee with milk or milk alternative - $2.50; with BYO Cup - $2.00.

• CHFAC Juice Bar: not currently available due to system connectivity issues.

• CHBC: Any beverage from the venue coffee machine - free.

The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• Coffee may only be purchased within relevant trading hours

• Coffee may only be purchased within half an hour prior to the commencement of shift, within half an hour of the completion of shift and on designated breaks.

• Coffee may only be obtained from the venue in which you are rostered.

• Our customers come first; you made need to wait your turn.

• Pricing may change, subject to an annual review.

3.3.Coffee Cash

Every permanent team member is entitled to $5 ‘Coffee Cash’ for each day that they work. The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• ‘Coffee Cash’ may be used to purchase any non-packaged, non-alcoholic beverage.

• Beverages may be purchased from any of our service outlets.

• Beverages may only be purchased within relevant trading hours.

• Beverages may only be purchased within half an hour prior to the commencement of shift, within half an hour of the completion of shift and on designated breaks.

• Our customers come first; you made need to wait your turn.

3.4.CHFAC 'Wellness' Membership

All permanent and eligible casual CHRG team members are entitled to a free ‘Wellness’ membership to Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre (CHFAC). The Wellness membership includes:

• Unlimited access to the gym.

• Unlimited access to virtual classes

• Standby access to group fitness classes, in accordance with CHFAC standard terms & conditions.

• Unlimited use of pool during public lap times

The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• Team members must ‘sign up’ to the gym and obtain an entry pass/fob.

• To be eligible for this discount casual employees must work, on average, 3 hours per week.

3.5.CHFAC 'Full' Membership

All CHRG team members are entitled to a discounted ‘Full’ membership to Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre (CHFAC). The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• Membership fees are equivalent to standard ‘Bronze’ membership rates (currently $11 per week).

• Membership fees will be direct debited in accordance with CHFAC’s standard terms and conditions.

• To be eligible for this discount casual team members must work, on average, 3 hours per week.

• Additional terms and conditions apply for staff who have an existing CHFAC gym membership.

CHRG Connect+

3.6.Golf

All CHRG team members are entitled to the following Golf discounts at Lynwood Golf and Country Club:

• 50% discount on the visitor price of social golf and buckets of balls for use at the driving range

• 50% discount on the visitor price Lynwood Links

The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• Social golf discount can be used for up to 2 people (yourself and another).

• Lynwood Links discount can be used for up to 6 people (one group).

• Discounted social golf rounds are available Monday to Friday only and may be limited to specific tee times during peak periods or unavailable when course wide events are scheduled.

• Discounted rates can be used up to 4 times in any 12-month period.

• Discounted access to the driving range must be arranged through the Pro-Shop and balls collected from Pro-Shop.

• Subject to availability, the social golf discount also applies to cart and club hire.

• To be eligible for this discount casual team members must work, on average, 3 hours per week.

3.7.Barefoot Bowls

All CHRG team members are entitled to a 50% discount on the visitor price of Barefoot Bowls at Castle Hill Bowling Club.

The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• The discount can be used for up to 10 people.

• Discount is available Tuesday to Friday only and may be limited to specific times during peak periods or unavailable when competition events are scheduled.

• Discounted bowls can be used up to 2 times in any 12-month period.

• To be eligible for this discount casual team members must work, on average, 3 hours per week.

3.8.Events

All CHRG team members are entitled to a 50% discount on the visitor price of Event space hire at all venues.

The following terms and conditions apply to this discount:

• Discount is available 7 days but may be limited to specific times during peak periods.

• Discounted event space hire can be used once in any 12-month period.

• To be eligible for this discount casual team members must work, on average, 3 hours per week.

3.9.Festive Season Wholesale Ordering

All CHRG team members are entitled leverage CHRG’s bulk buying power during the festive season to purchase beverages and Christmas hams.

• Purchase of alcohol beverages is limited to over 18s only.

• The People and Purpose team will designate ordering dates and instructions each year.

• To be eligible for this discount casual team members must work, on average, 3 hours per week

4. ADDITIONAL TEAM BENEFITS

4.1.Leave

CHRG team members are entitled to additional leave benefits in accordance with our Leave Policy Additional leave benefits include:

• Extended use of personal leave.

• Birthday leave.

• Support Leave (Study, Family, Community)

4.2.Referral Incentives

CHRG team members are entitled to incentives for referring others to work at CHRG. Team members are entitled to incentives in accordance with our Referral Policy and include:

• Benefits for successful hire.

• Benefits for successful completion of probation period.

4.3.Mental Wellness Support Program

All CHRG team members are entitled to mental health support via our Employee Assistance Program and our Mental Wellness Support Program.

4.4.Raffle Entry to Seasonal Raffles

CHRG team members are entitled to enter CHRG seasonal raffles, including Easter and Christmas. The following terms and conditions apply: Benefits for successful hire.

• Team members must not be on duty, or in uniform when they purchase the tickets.

• Team members must not be on duty, or in uniform, when the raffles are being drawn.

• All other terms and conditions of the raffle apply.

5. GIFTS, REWARDS AND CELEBRATIONS

On numerous occasions throughout the year our team members may receive gifts and/or invitations to attend events and functions: examples include:

• EOFY celebrations

• Christmas celebrations

• Christmas gifts

• Farewell gifts

All such gift giving, and events will be given/conducted in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Gifts and Celebrations Policy All performance-based and length of service-based rewards will be issued in accordance with our Reward and Recognition Policy

CHRG Connect+

6. EMPLOYEE LOYALTY PROGRAM

The CHRG connectᶧ program supersedes the previous Employee Loyalty Program (ELP).

Team members who were previously eligible for Silver, Gold, or Platinum benefits under the ELP will continue to have access to complimentary show tickets in accordance with the ELP, that is:

• Silver (5-9 years) – 2 x complimentary show tickets per annum

• Gold (10-14 years) - 2 x complimentary show tickets per quarter

• Platinum (15+) – 2 x complimentary show tickets per month.

Team members who were previously eligible for Platinum benefits under the ELP will continue receive additional superannuation payments.

7. MEAL CHARGE & COFFEE CASH

Dependant on their employment status and/or role, team members will be able to access free beverages or meals by using the account charge function of the connectᶧ Card.

Usage of meal charge and coffee cash will be monitored regularly

8. BREACH OF THIS POLICY

Breaches of this policy may result in counselling and or disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.

9. REVIEW OF THIS POLICY

This policy will be reviewed every two years to ensure it remains consistent with all relevant legislative requirements, as well as the changing nature of the company or more frequently where legislative requirements are changed or amended.

10. POLICY COMMUNICATION AND EDUCATION

This policy will be stored on CHRG’s intranet site. It will be incorporated into induction/onboarding programs and CHRG will conduct education sessions on the application and operation of this policy as required and when any changes to the policy are implemented.
