Click Collab addresses this challenge through a whole-ofcommunity collaboration process known as the Zero DFV program
The Community Facilitator role focuses on program logistics and coordination, fostering strong relationships, and encouraging collaboration among stakeholders and community members to achieve the community’s Zero DFV vision and goals

The role is performed primarily from a home office. There will be times when you will base yourself at other locations within the community (e g local Club office or meeting rooms)
There will be a need to travel to meet with local stakeholders and for various Click Collab and community events.
Short Term Contract – 19 hours per week (0 5 FTE based on a 38-hour week)
Flexible work arrangement, with fixed days of work to be negotiated.
Provision of a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check is a condition of employment
Role Summary
The Community Facilitator role is best suited for someone with a genuine interest in the prevention of domestic and family violence
The Community Facilitator is essential in helping community members work together towards achieving the Zero DFV vision. Reporting to the Senior Strategist, this role focuses on program logistics and coordination, fostering strong relationships, and encouraging collaboration among stakeholders and community members
The Facilitator coordinates and coaches the Goal Squad members, ensuring everyone is aligned and empowered
Each day is different and filled with opportunities to drive positive change in the prevention of domestic and family violence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage logistics and communications to enable the successful delivery of Zero DFV programs in collaboration with the Senior Strategist.
Prepare meeting minutes and reports, soliciting feedback on drafts, and finalising documents
Communicate with and coordinate community members to enable their participation in the program
Manage incoming survey data and undertake trend analysis.
Manage the logistics and participate as required in events, such as The Community Speaks, Strategy Huddles, and the Navbook launch
Coordinate and participate in strategic stakeholder onboarding briefing sessions
Coordinate promotional activities throughout the community to amplify Zero DFV messaging. This includes social media, general media, pop-up stalls, and community group presentations.
Facilitate community meetings and provide coaching support to Goal Squad members to achieve action plans
Maintain existing relationships and develop new connections with strategic stakeholders and community members
Manage conflicting interests among community members by consistently aligning them with the agreed goals and vision and using the issue resolution process
Maintain records and ensure the accuracy of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
Identify and communicate opportunities for improving processes
Contribute and participate as a Click Collab team member, sharing best practices and insights with others while modelling our values in all our work.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience working as a facilitator in community development, domestic and family violence prevention, education or other similar sectors
Experience working in diverse settings, engaging broadly across multiple sectors of the community (e g ethnic, youth, elderly, faith groups, etc )
Degree qualified (or equivalent)
Skills include:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt to your audience
Excellent people skills and the ability to work alongside others in a collaborative and constructive manner
Ability to negotiate competing interests, influence others without having direct authority over them and to thrive in a fluid environment
Knowledge and application of various facilitation methods (e.g. decision-making models, brainstorming techniques, etc )
Project management skills and a ‘ can do’ approach - always seeking better ways to achieve outcomes
