We’ve optimized our process to save Loan Officers valuable time, allowing them to focus more on revenue-generating activities.
The Loan Processor gets notified once the consumer completes the application and uploads documents.
Based on the LO’s notes, the LP structures the file, calculates income, runs credit checks, and uses the Automated Underwriting System (AUS).
If necessary, the LP runs a credit simulator to enhance the client’s credit score, as directed by the LO.
Once the assessment is complete, the LP sends a detailed write-up to the LO. This allows the LO to quickly review the file, issue a pre-approval, or make necessary adjustments.
A Loan Originator’s role at CMG involves attracting qualified business and ensuring an exceptional client experience through effective use of our CRM and document collection tools. This streamlined workflow allows Loan Originators to efficiently manage their tasks, focusing on client engagement and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Loan Officers focus on building and maintaining relationships with key referral partners such as real estate agents, attorneys, and accountants.
Initial Contact: LOs take introductory calls to vet leads before guiding them to complete an online application.
CRM Updates: Regular input and maintenance of referral partner and client details in our CRM (Jungo).
Document Requests: Utilizing Floify to request necessary documents from clients.
Application Completion: Encouraging clients to fill out their applications online.
Pre-Approval: Confirming that clients are pre-approved and that files are structured properly.
Expert Calls: Conducting ‘Expert/ Pre-Approval’ calls with clients to finalize the pre-approval status.
Ongoing Communication: Providing weekly updates (Tuesday Updates) to clients and referral partners throughout the loan process.
The LO is responsible for ensuring each loan is correctly structured, conducting detailed reviews at the pre-qualification and pre-submission stages to meet CMG standards.
Emmanuel has been a part of Choice Mortgage Group since 2008. He quickly became the top loan originator and started his mortgage team. Along his journey he was a Branch Manager and the COO. In June of 2022 he became the firm’s CEO and majority owner. As the visionary of the Company he is responsible for leading the Company and staying ahead of the industry with respect to technology and the client experience. He prides himself on fostering an environment that allows the loan officers and employees of the Company to thrive and the referral partners of the Company to be WoW’d at every opportunity.
Beginning his career in the mortgage industry in 2013, Jared joined Choice Mortgage Group and has been with the company ever since. Mastering every aspect of loan closing, Jared values the great environment and team atmosphere at Choice. The team uses his years of experience as a reliable source of information and industry innovation. Jared likes the creativity in his job. Respecting the human element in the mortgage process is his top priority and therefore, his approach to lending includes in-depth analysis coupled with hands-on service.
Jill is a seasoned accountant and mortgage CFO dedicated to demystifying the complexities of financial reporting. She has a flare for turning complicated data and presenting profit and loss statements that branch managers understand and appreciate. Her ability to create forecast models tells the users quickly where they must focus to take their branch to the next level. Her passion for facilitating homeownership along with her accounting expertise has helped Choice Mortgage Group’s management and sales teams to understand the needs of the consumer in each segment of the market. Outside of the mortgage world, Jill enjoys fishing, exploring the outdoors, and finding the next great local band.

Meet Sarah Biernbaum, an invaluable member of Choice Mortgage Group since 2020. She thrives in the company’s vibrant atmosphere, relishing the open channels of workplace communication and the abundant growth opportunities it affords.
Sarah’s journey within the organization has been a dynamic one. After initially contributing in various departments, she seized an opportunity to return to her longstanding passion for business development, sales, and nurturing relationships. Her dedication paid off, as she now holds the role of Director of Business Development, where her impact on the company’s success is undeniable.
Matt has been an integral part of Choice Mortgage Group since he joined the company in 2001. Initially a loan originator, his extensive mortgage knowledge and attention to detail was a perfect fit for our processing department. After being a Processor for 19 years, he was promoted to Processing Manager in 2020 and has been instrumental in developing an extremely talented team of Processors and Loan Partners. He takes tremendous pride in the quality of our operations team’s work, which we strongly believe to be the best in the business. He is constantly creating, implementing, and refining systems and processes to ensure the smoothest experience possible for our borrowers, while always emphasizing the importance of empathy and good communication amongst all parties involved in the loan process.
Erica has been in the Correspondent Mortgage Lending industry for over 20 years, joining Choice Mortgage Group in 2014. Her expertise in closings and fundings took our company to a paramount level as she developed and built out our in-house Closing and Funding Team. She is constantly innovating and improving upon the closing process, keeping us a leader in the latest cutting-edge technology to ensure our clients a flawless closing. Keeping our clients’ experience as her sole focus, she has worked diligently over the last decade to create the best Closing Team in the business.
Marla is a mortgage banking professional with over 32 years of mortgage banking experience in Correspondent/Wholesale and Retail residential lending. Marla is that of a Hybrid as she has extensive experience on both the Operations and Sales sides of the industry. This is unique and makes her a strong asset to Choice Mortgage Group. Marla is passionate about both sales and operations. “Our industry performs at its best only by having the best sales and operations teams working cohesively” says Marla. Marla’s background includes, Operations and Underwriting Management, Sales Management, Training, and business development. Marla has taken all of those experiences’ and combined them to build out Choice Mortgage Group’s Delegated underwriting division. Marla truly enjoys being able to work with all aspects of this great business.

So what is LOANNUITYTM, you ask?
We are going to partner you with an experienced loan officer who is going to co-market together with you to your database and your referral partners. That’s going to allow you to play golf and enjoy the retired life, but continue to get a paycheck forever.

This allows anyone licensed as a loan, officer, whether they are a real estate agent, plumber, electrician, etc, to be compensated for loans they bring to the company. On the MLS listings, agents recommend: ‘Seller strongly advises pre-approval from Choice Mortgage Group and we will include a direct line associated with the agent as well as an email for their team. The Inside Loan Officer position offers a salary against future commissions. Our business development team will directly supply you with business leads. Additionally, we have a specialized role dedicated to developing Builder Relationships, which aims to funnel new construction leads into your sales pipeline.
The Retail Loan Officer position comes with comprehensive support, including a dedicated Loan Partner and access to our technology and services. We offer a competitive compensation and bonus structure, designed to reward performance and drive success.
With this branch model, we provide your branch Loan Officer Assistants, Processors and Underwriters. This model includes minimal costs to a branch, but great flexibility in terms of being able to hire Loan Officers and pricing strategies.

After closing a condo loan, we proactively support our loan officers by emailing them a list of all active listings in that community.
