THAT’S OUR JAM!

2 years ago we all took a journey of discovery. We planted ourselves into our education. Working tirelessly to grow, connecting to both our work and each other. We mixed together creating unexpected flavours to make each dish more vibrant. Bringing creative visions to life and building a vibrant spread of projects for everyone to enjoy.

Bringing each of our own flavours to our class. Our jam contains a blend of Branding, Illustration, UX/UI, Packaging, Photography, Motion Graphics, Editorial, Print Production, Social Media Management, Web Development, Video Production, Copywriting, Brand Identity, and Marketing.

We all brought dishes from our culture, history and hobbies, threw them in a pot and created a flavour not like anything else. With a pool of inspiration and a shine for breaking the mold. VCC’s “Bembo” class is proud to present our graduation jam! Please dig in and have a taste.

Better together

16 flavours all brought together by their passion for design. Here we learned, grew and discovered our jam! perfect blend

Our ideas and passion come together to create an exciting mix of endless resilience and in-depth skills.

A MESSage from sigriD

Digital media Design Department Head

Dear Bembo Bold,

From orientation day in January 2024 to the final touches on your grad displays in July 2025, you’ve grown from Bembo to Bembo Bold. Along the way, you adjusted your kerning, pushed your boundaries, and learned that creativity sometimes comes with 87 open browser tabs.

“Let’s Jam” is a perfect theme for your cohort. You each bring something distinct to the table: smooth, crunchy, sweet, spicy, edgy, even some flavours we didn’t know existed. Yes, design is messy, and growth usually comes with a few rough drafts. But you refined your eye, sharpened your tools, and maybe cried onto your keyboard. In the end you persevered, and created a truly collaborative spread.

As you head out into the real world, remember that clients won’t always know what they want. Deadlines will blur. Edits will have to be done yesterday. But your ability to think, to iterate, to communicate with empathy and clarity is your superpower. Not to mention your passion for creating meaningful, eye-catching design.

On behalf of all your instructors, we are honoured to have been part of your progress as creatives. You have also shown us what we can do better, so you made your mark on this program. We can’t wait to see how you’ll leave your mark on the world.

Stay curious, kind and generous. And keep jamming. With pride on behalf of all of us in Digital Media Design.
